Drunk in Passion

"Take me to a poet's pub"
I slurred.
"Another pub?"
He mumbled.

"No, not a normal pub"
I spat.
He gave me some milk in a cup.
And told me to stop being a brat.

I moved out of there,
On my own.
To search here and there.
For bright hearts that shone.

Poet's pub is a place,
Where everyone writes poems
With grace.
Where everyone is welcome.

Where everyone is drunk,
In feelings and passion.
Where there is a huge trunk.
Full of compassion.

Where people dance,
In those beautiful rhymes,
And prance ,
Without caring for time.

Where people have their mind blown,
In euphoric pleasure.
Where feelings are known

As a treasure.

I walked untill midnight.
But didn't find any,
In my sight.
But my hopes were many.

I returned home broken hearted.
Told him about it all.
He said that he will build
One poet's pub for me before the fall.

#41 Write a poem describing what you think a poet's pub will look like..
Try it out..

Wish there was a "he" In my life..
But oh well.
You will find me in the library,
At the age of 70,
With hundreds of cats....
See you there...
