I snuck out of the prison and ran hunched over back to the blacksmith workshop, I knew I would be safe there. I was about to get inside when I saw Will passed out on the street "Will!! Wake up!" I shouted over the cannon fire while shaking him. I realised it would not work so I dragged him into the shop. I eventually fell asleep on the dirty floor.
Sunbeams started to peak through the cracks in the door. I woke up to being roughly shaken "Sam! Sam wake up," "five more minutes" I replied. "Sam get up, " my brother said firmly, " The people who attacked last night, they took Elizabeth!" As he said that I opened my eyes and sat bolt upright, recognising how much my neck hurt. Granted I hated Elizabeth but she made my brother happy so I had to help him find her. "Fine will but you owe me. How will we find her? I asked Norrington and his men must be looking for her but that wouldn't stop him. "Buggar" I muttered under my breath. I had remembered I had promised I would save the pirate. How would I persuade will? I racked my brains and finally thought of something "Will I know how to save her," I said excitedly "how?" Perfect his curiosity had set in. "Be ready in 10 minutes and follow me." 
10 minutes later, will and I grabbed our swords and headed out the door. I weaved my way between rushing people and broken buildings, occasionally stopping to check if Will was still following. We made it to the prison without being noticed but this was going to be the tricky part, we had to get in, spring the door off, trust the pirate wouldn't kill us and steal a ship. "Right, follow my lead," I said to Will "are you sure we are allowed to be here?" asked he "do you want to save your woman or not?" I hissed back. "Captain Sparrow?" I half said half-whispered. "How many times have I told you to call me Jack Luv?" Came the reply. Will's face was struck with a realisation. " we can-" Will protested but I cut him off " He is the only way to free Elizabeth, plus I gave him my word I would free him, I am a womanf of my word." I walked over to the cell door and motioned for Will to follow "what is your name again lass?" Captain Jack asked "Sam," I replied shortly. "What's in it for me? The saving of the girl I mean." He questioned. Of course, he would want something he is a pirate. Will butted in " I am William Turner and this is my sister Sam Turner, you will help us find Miss Swan." I was surprised at his change in tone but it worked, "That would be short for William I imagine, good strong name, no doubt the name of your father ay?" Jack was planning something, I didn't like that. "Yes," Will raised an eyebrow, "Well Mr Turner I've changed my mind, spring me from this cell and I swear on pain of death I will take you to the black pearl and your bonnie lass!do we have an accord?" He, rather boldly, proclaimed. Will reached out and shook his hand "Come on then we don't have all day, " he demanded. "They are half pin barrel hinges Will, I could have freed him last night but I wanted you to have my back." I said prompting Will. "Of course! They are half pin barrel hinges!" Said Will like a child on Christmas while picking up a bench. After a push, the door sprung off its hinges and we ran out of the cell. We all stopped under a bridge, panting for air  "We are going to steal a ship? That ship?" Will asked pointing at the dauntless. "Commander, we are going to commandeer that ship," corrected the pirate "that's the nautical term,"I added in. Jack looked at me "I like her." He remarked before snapping his head back to the dauntless. I was glad I was behind them both as my cheeks were tinged with pink. Pull yourself together, you never blush I thought. "One question about your business boy, this girl, how far are you willing to go for her? " jack said calmly "I'd die for her!" Will proclaimed heroically, I rolled my eyes " oh good," Jack replied in an upbeat voice. That worried me, how close to death would we get? We waited until guards ran past then snuck under a little rowboat, another patrol of guards ran past "now!" Jack whispered, we picked up the boat and ran into the water. The air was trapped inside the boat creating an air pocket to breathe in. "This is brilliant," I thought out loud and immediately slapped my hand to my mouth making us nearly tip over. "Sorry," I said apologetically "this is madness." My brother remarked, I rolled my eyes. "It's remarkable how often those two traits coincide," I smirked at Jack's response. There was a small crunch and I looked down, Will had his foot through a crab trap . "This should be far enough," the captain said. We all dropped the boat and swam to the surface " we need to get on that ship, but how?" My brother questioned. "Isn't it obvious-" jack started but then I cut in knowing exactly what to do " we tie the trap Will stood in to the rudder and throw the barrel up to the first railing," Jack looked at me curiously and so do Will " you sound like a pirate Luv," Jack remarked the idea of this made me smile but then I quickly hid it as my brother would disapprove. We scaled the slippery ship and jumped on deck. Jack pulled out his pistol and me and Will pulled out our swords " Everbody stay calm we are taking over the ship!" Jack shouted "aye! Avast! " Will shouted. I and jack looked at him then looked at each other in a is he stupid kind of way. We then turned to the men, they laughed " this ship can not be screwed by two men alone, you will never make it out of the bay" stated the man " OI! I'm here as well that makes three, can you not count??" I spat at him. This released another chuckle from the group. " Son," Jack said while raising his pistol " I'm Captain Jack Sparrow," he cocked his pistol, "savvy?" He asked. This was enough motivation for him and his men to get into a longboat and sail away. The man in the boat was shouting and waving like a madman at the shoreline. Norrington pulled out his telescope. "Captain Jack Sparrow, William Turner and Miss Turner. What a surprise!" He said sarcastically, he commanded his men to get the interceptor ready to sail. We had to make it look like we were trying to sail away. I pulled on any rope I could find trying to look buisy "Here they come, captain " I informed Jack. He looked over his shoulder and smirked with his gun still in his hand. It was working. The interceptor lined up with the dauntless and the sailors threw grapples that me and will helped make that attached to the rails of the ship. Men climed and swung over, "search every cabin every hole all the way down to the bilges!" Norrington commanded just as we swung off the end of the ship, unnoticed, onto the interceptor. I went along the rail cutting the ropes attached to the interceptor, we pulled away just as Norrington realised and screamed "MEN BACK TO THE INTERCEPTOR!!" a man tried to swing over but missed by a long shot and splashed through the ocean surface, " Thank you Comedor for getting us ready to make way we would've had a hard time of it by ourselves!" I shouted back to them while jack waved his hat at them mockingly. We ducked as men shot at us, and we saw cannons being wheeled out. Unknown to them they would not be able to move in range thanks to a little idea Jack had. We sailed straight towards the horizon and I went and sat on a barrel staring at the ocean. This is all I ever wanted, this is where I felt most right being. I heard footsteps as the smell of strong rum, salt and leather approached me from behind. "Some good thinking you had back there Luv," he complimented "thank you, captain," he wandered off and took the wheel back off Will so he went to sharpen a sword while a rope was holding the wheel steady. I wandered over to them as I heard will say " and when our mother died we came here, I was looking for our father." He explained " is that so." Jack replied like he couldn't care less "our father, william turner," I began the following jack up the steps, " it was only after you learned our last name that was what we wanted so we didn't question you." Jack unhooked the rope not really listening, " I am not stupid Captain, you knew our father." I accused "I knew him, probably one of the few of him who knew him as William turner, everyone else just called him bootstrap or bootstrap bill." He stated simply, what a strange nickname for someone "good man, a good pirate I swear you brother looks just like him," he finished Will heard the last sentence and protested " it's not true he was a merchant sailor, a good respectable man who obeyed the law, " " he was a pirate a bloody scallywag" he insisted "My father was not a pirate!" Will persisted taking out his sword "will don't-" I started " be quiet, I will not have a filthy pirate wrongly accuse our father!" Will said with a very stern voice. " she is right put it away son" jack agreed "it is not worth losing a fight for" he added. When will still did not put it away Jack turned the wheel quickly, a wooden post hitting will in the stomach. He was dangerously dangling off the side of the ship. He struggled as jack picked up his sword. "Now as long as you are just hanging there pay attention," jack was about to lecture him I knew it " Captain please let him back on," I begged. "No. The only rules that really matter are these: what a man can do, and what a man can't do, for instance, you can accept your father was a pirate and a good man or you can't, the pirate is in your blood boy so you will have to square with that someday  just like how I could leave you and let you drown but I couldn't sail the ship in and out of Tortuga just with your sister savvy?" I was shocked that our father was a pirate but I didn't find it completely unbelievable. Suddenly Jack swung the wheel round again so Will was on the deck. Jack pointed a sword at will's throat and I gasped then ran to will's side to help him up "can you sail under the command of a pirate?" He asked as he flipped Will's sword so he was holding the blade and Will took the handle "or can you not?" He finished "Tortuga?" I asked "Tortuga" jack confirmed.
