Thoughts on DC and Marvel Shows and Movies

So, in this chapter I thought I'd collect all of my thoughts on all the Marvel's TV shows, Black Widow, Wonder Woman 84 and CW's Superman and Lois TV show.

Now I know I've kinda mentioned some of these things on my activity post, I thought I'd give a better review than just saying "it's good, I loved it" or "this sucked". So I wanted to give basically a better review on these things.

Now there's another DC thing that came out I wanted to talk about, which is Batman: The Long Halloween Part 1, but I want to wait til part 2 to come out and I'll give my thoughts to those animated movies.

Anyway, let's begin with these quick fire reviews

First is WandaVision.

When the trailers came out for this show, it did intrigue me in the way of I had no idea what the hell was going on in the show. Like how the hell is Vision back and why are they acting like they were in I Love Lucy.

The first three episodes had me scratching my head as I just didn't know what the hell was happening. I liked the homage to old shows from like the 50's to the 70's. But then the show got interesting in episode 4 where we start to learn a bit more of what is going on.

Then Quicksilver from the Fox X-Men movies comes in and it was like what the hell?! But then it turned out he's a different guy and was used as a joke.

I will say I was a bit disappointed with the finale as I was expecting something bigger cause the show was giving clues that something bigger was coming but...it wasn't.

But I will say Elizabeth Olsen's and Paul Bettany's chemistry was great and I loved their performance as Wanda and Vision.
I also liked Agatha and I hope we get more of her in later MCU projects.

But all in all, I did like the show but so far it has been the weaker of the Marvel shows.

Next is Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

This one felt like an MCU movie and it was just alot of fun. Like with Wanda and Vision, I loved the chemistry and banter Sam and Bucky have. The action was alot of fun and cool.

And this might be an unpopular opinion, but I found John Walker the most interesting character in the show. Yes, I know people don't like him cause he became the new Captain America but I just found it interesting how he was dealing with being the new Captain America. He went about it wrong but he tried.

And that one episode ending where he killed one of the terrorists with the shield, my jaw dropped at this.

Speaking of the terrorists, I felt like they were the weakest part of the show. I did not care for them or that leader chick, I can't remember her name, I just found them underdeveloped and uninteresting.

And how could I forget Zemo. I really loved that they brought him back as I thought he was a good villain in Civil War. I thought he was alot of fun in this show and I knew the moment he started dancing, I knew it would be meme.

Sharon Carter, she's interesting. After that mid-credit scene, I'm intrigue on what they do with her. I mean, is she gonna be the villain in the new Captain America movie? Or in Season 2? Guess we'll find out.

I also wish they went in more about Bucky's story on him trying to atone for the things he did as the Winter Soldier. Especially with that one guy that was his friend and Bucky found out that he killed his friend's son. I wish they let that conversation to go on longer as it kinda went by too quick.

The last of the Marvel shows, until What If...?, is Loki.

This one I was a bit worried about as I felt like Loki's story ended in Infinity War. I believe in the phrase what's dead, stays dead. And Marvel kinda cheated as this Loki is the Loki after the events of the first Avengers movie and not the one we had followed from that movie all the way to Infinity War.
