So now with all 23 movies out and next week we should be finding out on what happens in the next phase of the MCU, as San Diego Comic Con is next week. I decided to rank all 23 Marvel movies.
Now keep in mind this is my opinion, if you don't agree then that's fine! You can let me know your rankings in the comments.
Anyway lets go!23. Captain Marvel.
If you guys don't know why I don't like this one, read the chapter that is called Why I Don't Like Captain Marvel in this book. I think it was because I was holding on hope that this movie was good, despite with Brie Larson being a giant bitch, and that's why I ended up disappointed. I was expecting more with it but it was just kinda dull.
22. Iron Man 3
I thought this movie was a little weak especially coming after the first Avengers movie but it does have some enjoyable moments in the movie. But I really didn't like that Mandarin twist. Ben Kingsley was doing such a good job as the Mandarin but they had to give us that stupid twist that he's a washed up actor and that Aldrich Killian was the real bad guy.
Also as How It Should Have Ended said, Iron Man 3 is almost like The Incredibles. Not exactly like it but it does share some of the same plot elements.
I remember reading that the director, Shane Black, said he wanted to keep the movie grounded and wanted to give that twist to the Mandarin, who is a magician in the comics. He said that putting magic in that world wouldn't be realistic.
....Kinda funny how now we have a movie about a guy who breaks his hands and went to go study magic and becomes a better person.
21. Thor: The Dark World
I kinda feel bad for this movie because everyone says this one is the worst Marvel movie. I still feel like it has some enjoyment. I do like Thor's and Loki's interaction, I thought some of the action sequences were good. But I do agree that this movie can be a bit dull.
20. The Incredible Hulk
Some people forget about this movie and it's kinda sad. I actually think this movie is very underrated. I liked the characters, I liked the action sequences and the villian, Abomination, was pretty cool. I really wish Edward Norton stayed as Bruce Banner cause I would've loved to have seen his interactions with the rest of the cast but Mark Ruffalo is a good replacement.
Plus this is a better Hulk movie than that one with Eric Bana back in like 2003. *author shudders*
19. Ant-Man
I have to admit, I had low expectations for this movie cause I thought it was a silly premise. A guy that can shrink down to ant size and beat bad guys up? What? But here comes Marvel proving me wrong. I thought this was enjoyable and a lot of fun. Paul Rudd was great, I think he was the best part of the movie. Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lilly were great as Hank and Hope Pym.
It's a nice little heist movie.
18. Ant-Man and The Wasp
I thought this was a little bit better than the first one but what I enjoyed about this movie is the same things I enjoyed the first movie. Although I think the villian was alittle bit better in this one than the first one. I also liked that it showed what happened to Scott after the events of Civil War
17. Iron Man 2
Some people think this the worst Iron Man moive out of the trilogy but I disagree. I don't think it's as good as the first but I do think it's better than the 3rd one. I thought Whiplash was a decent villian, I just wish it was just him and not Hammer using him, later in the movie, just so he can also get back at Tony.
