Thoughts on John Wick

So when I first heard about this movie, I thought it was one of the most ridiculous plots ever. The plot is a man goes on a killing spree on some people after they kill his dog. At the time I thought this was kinda dumb but then I heard that the movie was actually good and it got a sequel.

Now with the third movie out on DVD and a fourth one on the way, I believe, and after a good recommendation from my brother...I decided to give these movies a chance. So I went and bought the first two movies then just bought the 3rd one the other day when it came out on DVD.

And you guys wanna know what I think?

These are probably the coolest and most awesome, non-superhero movies I've seen in a while!

I was always wondering why people were going crazy over Keanu Reeves lately but after seeing these movies, I get it now! He's great in these movies and from what I've heard he's one of the nicest guys in the world.

Anyway, for those who haven't seen it, I'll give a better description of the movie than I did originally. Basically, John Wick was a retired assassin, who was very, very, very good at his job. I mean he is given the nickname Babba Yagga or the Boogeyman cause he is that good, feared and respected among the people in the assassin side of the world.

I mean he killed three guys with a pencil....a f**king pencil!

Anyway, he retired because he met a woman and fell in love with her. So he retires, marries her and lives a happy life....for about 5 years. She ends up dying from cancer, I believe, and he becomes depressed.

Well after she dies, his wife sent him one last gift from her and it ends up being a dog. So the dog becomes his emotional support animal.

But just about a day or two after getting the dog, John runs into these assholes and one of them wants to buy his car, which I believe is like a '69 Mustang. John refuses and the guy gets angry and so that night they break into John's house beat him up, kill the puppy and take his car.

And these guys have no idea what they just unleashed as I said John Wick is a very skilled assassin. So he sets out on a quest to hunt these guys down and make them pay.

That's the plot of the 1st movie, the 2nd and 3rd movie I don't want to give too much away but I will say that do expand on the world of being an assassin. I'll say for the plot of the 2nd movie, an old friend, if you want to call him that, comes to John and ask for a request since John gave him this type of Blood Oath, which is like a hardcore favor.

Crazy stuff happens and the movie ends in a cliffhanger and the 3rd one picks up right after this movie. So I don't want to give too much away as I want people, who have not seen it and are interested in it, to see it and be surprised!

If you haven't seen these movies, I suggest give these movies a try because they are awesome! Mainly the action is what sells this movie, if you guys thought the action in Deadpool was cool, go see these movies. In fact I think one of the directors of John Wick directed Deadpool 2, correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's right.

But I did enjoy these movies, they are fun popcorn movies! If you guys have time please rent them, all 3 movies are out on DVD, and sit down and have a marathon. They are alot of fun!

Since I mention on seeing these movies, some people ask me if I'm gonna do a fan fic of these movies. The answer: I'm not sure about it. The only way I could make it work is if the Reader is like his sister since the death of his wife is what kinda starts all of this but someone asked me for her to be a romantic interest but idk about that.
