Chapter 1 - Don't you remember me?

Y/N POV
"Where the fuck is Kayleigh?!" I yelled into my comms as I shot two more guards in their heads.

"How should I know?!" Jessica yelled into my ear but I could hear her just fine without comms as she stabbed another guard in their neck next to me.

"I'm on the floor below you. We have a situation y/n." Kayleigh said through comms.

"What situation?" I snapped losing my patience.

"They're here." She replied and her tone told me who it was. "They're taking down guards too and they haven't spotted us yet."

"We're on our way. Get ready for Plan A. Cut off all their exits." I said.

"Copy" Leanne and Kayleigh said through comms.

Jessica and I swapped out the magazines of our hand guns for new ones and made our way downstairs, covering each other as we moved around corners. The floor below was one big open space that acted as a sort of flow-through at the centre of the base, dead space that had to be crossed to get from one side of the bunker to the other. Jess and I met Leanne and Kayleigh on the stairs outside the main door that led into the open space.

"How many are here?" I asked Kayleigh.

"7." She replied, "Romanoff, Maximoff, Rogers, Stark, Wilson, Barton and *Kayleigh exchanged a look with Leanne before finishing in an almost nervous tone* the Winter Soldier."

I hid the flash of anger that struck me as I heard his name. He was on our list of targets but we didn't plan to take him on yet and I wasn't ready to unlock that buried chest of memories.

"Stick to the plan. We didn't come here to kill the Avengers today so we won't... but we are going to make ourselves known." I said, forming the plan as I spoke. "I'll set the charges for 5 minutes when we leave this floor. That's plenty of time for us to get out and maybe enough time for them if they know where to go. Either way it's not our concern."

"How do we subdue them?" There's only 5 guards left and they're taking them out as we speak. Soon they'll notice we've jammed the doors shut." Leanne said.

"Jess, Leanne and I will throw in our flash grenades while Kayleigh throws in two smoke bombs. She's got the best aim, try and get one on each side of the room Kay *I glanced at her and she nodded* They'll be too disorientated to fight and we'll hold up our guns just in case so I can speak to them. Then we leave and if they follow us, shoot to kill." I stated and the girls agreed without a second thought.

We withdrew our flash grenades and I sent Leanne to the North door, Jess to the West and Kayleigh to the East. We removed the bars that Leanne had used to barricade the doors.

"On my count. 3....2....1...GO!" We pulled the pins and launched them onto the floor. We covered our ears and closed our eyes as they went off.

"Guns up Ravens. Time to come out of the shadows." I said as I opened the door after hearing audible yells or grunts of confusion from the team within.

"Today was a disaster. Leanne almost lost an arm because we weren't focused and spent too long arguing about how to handle the North side of the bunker. That can't happen. We're better than this." I said pacing in front of my 3 comrades.

"We need a leader" Jessica announced.

"We agreed when we started this that no one would be in charge. We're not to be controlled anymore." I said sitting down on the free chair around our table.
