Josh's POV

I yawn as I feel myself slowly waking up. I see I'm back in the hospital and I remember I'm in the hospital, as usual.

"Hey Josh" I look up a little to see my whole family and Julia

"Hey guys" I smile tiredly at them

"It's good to see you as yourself" Julia cheekily smiles

"What?"

"You don't remember?" Mom asks running her hands through my thinning hair

"No, last thing I remember is the CT scan"

"Let's jut say you were pretty loopy after the biopsy" dad says chuckling

"Yah I wasn't here but I saw the video-" Conner starts but I cut him off

"What!? You videoed me?"

"Maybe" dad stifles a laugh

"Oh thanks" I remark sarcastically

"Oh good you're awake" I turn a little avoiding laying on my sore side seeing Dr. O'Crystal "so I have good news Josh! I already told your family but I called the Cancer Center and got in contact with Dannie's doctor his name is Dr. Kazani and I explained everything to him and he said he'd love to set something up so he's going to talk to her parents and get back to me tomorrow if they're okay with it"

"Really!?" I ask excitedly

"Yes really" he smiles

"That's awesome thank you so much!" I thank him gratefully

"You're welcome but unfortunately I have some bad news. after the biopsy unfortunately you continued to bleed meaning your blood doesn't clot as quickly as it should. I gave you an injection of a clotting agent so you should be fine now but what this means is my speculations of liver failure are more likely to be correct..." he says sadly

"Oh" I don't know what else to say. it's basically already been confirmed that my liver is failing because of chemo and I have to have chemo because of cancer...because I'm dying.

"On a brighter note you can go home"he says in an attempt to lighten the mood

I just nod

"Um so I'll call you tomorrow to talk to you about what Dannie's parents said and I'll get the biopsy results in three days so we'll make an appointment to discus that too"

"Okay thank you" mom says

He nods "I'll send a nurse in to discharge you" he them walks out looking upset

Ashley walks in after him with a clip board of papers.

"Here" she hands them to mom and dad "I'm sure you know what to do with those" she then comes over to me and starts gently taking the IV out of my hand.

"Do you need any refills of any of your medications?" She asks me

"I honestly don't know. mom?" I ask looking to mom

She looks up from the clipboard of papers "um no we're good for a few more weeks"

"Okay well do you need anything else before you leave?" Dad hands her the clipboard

"I think we're okay for now. josh?" Dad looks to me as I stand taking the hospital gown off

"I'm fine" I say handing her the gown once I'm dressed
