Chapter 15

Julia's POV

"Julia why do you have that?" Josh looks down the video camera jokingly rolling his eyes

"Because I'm making a video of today for your fans!" I tell him excitedly as he crutches into the kitchen

"Oh great more of my pale face can be online"

"Oh come on I-"

"I'm kidding" he grins "I think it's a good idea"

"I know! I'm very smart" I joke

"Okay" he rolls his eyes at me so I shove him playfully

"Alright! You two ready? we have to go" Chris asks

"Yep!" We both say josh clearly extremely excited then we all get into the car except for Conner who's at school

Josh's POV

We get to the cancer center and I get our of the car as fast as possible super excited! I can't believe this is finally happening and how oddly easy it was to make this happen I guess the world doesn't absolutely hate me lately?

"You ready?" Mom asks me smiling

"Extremely" I return the smile

We get inside the building where Dr. Kazani meets us.

" 'Morning everyone" he greets us "so Dannie is in the conference room we were in yesterday with her parents he explains as we walk "they're waiting for me to come in cause she thinks we're having another meeting. so I'm going to go in first and tell her that I want her to meet another doctor and that's when you'll come in first then your family can come and meet her!"

"Okay!" I agree excitedly feeling my heart beat faster in anticipation as we approach the door

Dr. Kazani goes in first and I put my ear on the door waiting for my que

"So another doctor is going to come join us in a few minutes-" I take this as my opportunity I knock on the door and opening it slowly grinning.

I make eye contact with a shocked young girl sitting with a cannula in her nose and a hat on her bald head

"Oh my god!" She gasps putting her hands over her mouth

"Hi Danny I'm Josh" I introduce my self as she slowly stands seeing as she's so week

"I know" she squeaks tears conning to her eyes

As soon as she's up I quickly wrap my arms around her fragile body. we continue to hug while she happily cries.

"W-hy are you here" she asks still in shock

"Well you commented on on of my twitter posts so I stalked you a little " I say making her laugh "and got in contact with your parents and now here I am!" I say

"Oh my god thank you so much" she says and I hug her again smiling

"Oh one second" I say once she pulls away I go and like my head in the hall motioning for mom dad and Julia to come in

"So these are my parents Michele and Chris and this is Julia with the camera" I say jokingly making fun of her

"Oh it's so good to finally meet you!" Mom gushes hugging her "Josh has been so excited to meet you"

"They've been a big part of this whole thing too so they wanted to really meet you" I explain

"Wow thank you all so much this is so crazy" she smiles widely

"Oh I have another surprise for you" I tell her "so your parents were telling me that you watch my movies all the time, thank you by the way, but you only have a couple that you just keep watching" she laughs embarrassed "sooo" I take the basket from dad's hands "I put together this little movie night basket with some of my movies for you and some other little things" I give her the basket and she gasps admiring it happily

"Oh my...thank you so much this is incredible!"

After she calmed down a bit from the shock we take some pictures together and start talking.

"So this is your second time going through chemo?" I ask her as we sit down in the conference room chairs to talk

"Um yah I was diagnosed last summer when I was twelve with Acute myelogenous leukemia. I was cancer free for five months but I relapsed three months ago and haven't been responding as well as last time to the chemo. so it's been harder but all the doctors and especial my family have been amazing through it all so I'm getting through it" she says smiling making me smile at how strong she is

"Wow. I just can't believe that you're only 14 and your so strong it inspires me, really" I tell her sincerely making her blush "so what about before you were diagnosed what'd you do?"

"Um well mainly I hung our with my friends and played soccer" she shrugs

"Soccer huh? You good?"

" 'M alright"

"She's more then alright" he dad says "she's carried her team through 4 championships"

"Dad" she says embarrassed making me smile

"Really? That's amazing! I'm pretty found of soccer myself so maybe sometime when my leg is healed we can play together?" I offer

"Really?" She practically jumps out of her seat in excitement

"Of course! I have a lot of free time on my hands now so might as well do something fun right?"

We continue to talk for a couple of hours until I could tell she was getting really tired so we decided it would be a good time to head out. we said goodbye and all that but before we left I speak up

"Oh and before we go I have one last surprise that no one knows about" I grin at everyone making Julia once again pull out her camera and start filming

"So I was talking to Dr. Kazani yesterday and he was telling me how you need a surgery that's quite expensive well Becky Dan don't worry about it cause it's all paid for" I tell them happily

"What?!" Becky asks shocked

"Danny can get the surgery whenever she's ready I've paid for it all"

"Oh thank you so much" she comes and hugs my crying

"It was my pleasure" I say returning the hug

"Thank you so much, Josh, for all you've done for my girl" Dan says shaking my hand

"You're very welcome, sir"

Danny comes and hugs me one last time "thank so much Josh for everything, really, this has been the greatest day ever"

"Don't thank me this was the greatest day ever for me too" I kiss her on her forehead "I'll see you later" and we that we head out to the car extremely happy. the happiest I've been since my diagnosis
