Chapter 2

Julia Featured above

Josh's POV

My parents left for work and Connor for school early this morning and I have been watching tv for about 4 hours now. I went for my usually run this morning at 9 and then I watched tv. it is so far very eventful!

It 2pm and Julia still hasn't woken up. I don't mind though I'm just so happy she is here! I've missed her so much it's good to have someone from home.

I get up off the couch deciding to make something to eat. I was going to wait for lunch to have with Julia but she is still sleeping!

I get up and go over to the kitchen. suddenly my leg goes out again. I gasp as I hit my head on something.

I fall to the ground my head pounding before I can even get up everything fades to black....

Julia's POV

I wake up with the sun in my eyes.i roll over and look art he time

'Holly Crap!' I slept late! I stand up throwing my hair in a messy bun and make my way down stairs.

I walk into the living room expecting to see Joshua, knowing everyone else is gone.

I look around and see the tv on but no one there

"Joshusa?" I walk to the bathroom and knock on the door

"Joshua? are you in there?" still no answer I start to get a little worried

I walk into the kitchen "Joshua? Joshua where are y-" I see josh laying on the floor unconscious blood coming from his head "Joshua!!" I run and fall at his side

"Joshua!" I shake him "Joshua!" I hold his face in my hands "Joshua please wake up!"

I start tapping my hand on his cheek as tears begin to fall "Joshua please, please"

I look at the cut on his forehead. it looks fairly deep and it's bleeding a lot

"Oh my god Joshua please wake up!!" I start yelling. I pull my phone out of my back pocket.

"Hello?"

"Chris, it's Julia" I choke out

"Julia, what's wrong? why are you crying?"

"It's Josh, I-I don't know what happened. He-He's unconscious and there's blood, I don't know what to do-"

"Julia! calm down it's going to be alright. Where is the blood coming from?"

"Hi-his head, it looks deep Chris"

"Call 911. I'll meet you at the hospital."

"O-Okay"

I hang up and dial 911

"911 what's your emergency?"

"My friend I think feel and is unconscious and bleeding I-I need an ambulance at 1638 Silver-Coin Street"

"Okay an ambulance is on it's way. Can you tell me if your friend has a pulse?"

I swallow hard and move my hand to his neck feeling his pulse

"Y-yes"

"Okay, an ambulance will be there in 8 minutes"

"Okay" I hang up

Josh's head is still bleeding a lot. I shakily stand up and get a towel trying to stop the bleeding.

"Please be okay, Joshua" I run my fingers through his hair.
