Welcome back, dearest readers! I hope you enjoyed my previous story. This story is based on an idea that came to my mind some time ago. I hope you guys enjoy it, don't forget to share and comment!

"Samantha Reeves" A woman's voice echoed around the room. Nervousness crept through my veins. The setting didn't help my jittering. I glanced around the room, the white walls completely deserted; the polished tiles below my feet stared back at me, menacingly telling me to head towards the platform that stood in the center. It was the only thing that was present in the room, a tall pillar coated in white paint. On top of it was a spherical button waiting to be pressed. My shoes clicked against the floor, the emptiness of the room flooding my thoughts. I stood before the pillar, my fingers hovering over the button waiting to be pressed. I took a deep breath before letting my hand press the dreaded button. A translucent screen shimmered before my eyes.

"Samantha Reeves, daughter of Edward and Melissa Reeves. 18 years old, died during a fatal car wreck." A surprisingly sweet voice stated. I nodded before telling it to continue.

"The following video shall show how you passed away, after this, we shall decide your fate." The voice informed. A new video appeared on the screen...

I saw myself sitting in my black sedan. Shawn Mendes sang through my car's audio box, I sang along with his voice, mine contradicting his beautiful one. I pressed the brake, my car coming to a stop, the red headlight glinting above my head. Whilst waiting, my foot continued tapping against the seat's base restlessly, waiting for the light to turn green. I grabbed my phone from the passenger seat and scrolled through Instagram, while doing so, I didn't hear the vigorous honking of the car behind me... Suddenly, all I saw was black, I realized I was reliving the memory, the pain... My head throbbed, my breathing turned ragged and hollow. Each breath sent my lungs on fire. I glance at the mirror and glass embedded through my forehead, my lips splattered with my own blood... That was the last thing I saw before passing away.

"Looking at your records, we have come to the following consensus." The voice brought me back to reality, the screen flashed to show the number of good deeds, bad deeds, and neutral deeds I had performed throughout my lifetime. I realized that these were my personal statistics.

Below good deeds, there were one hundred and fifty different scenarios, all of them portraying something good I had done in my life. Below bad deeds, ninety-five scenarios were listed, with each one I realized the times I had done something wrong without even realizing it. My heart clenched painfully against my chest, I couldn't believe I had done so much in merely 18 years. Below neutral deeds, one thousand five hundred different actions were plastered across the constantly shimmering hologram. I was surprised beyond measure, how did they know what I had done on a daily basis, how did they know each and every deed I had committed over the years. A small gasp escaped from my mouth as I stared blankly at the hologram before me.

"Now Ms. Reeves, seeing as the number of good deeds outnumbers your bad ones, you shall be granted the chance to be born once more in a human family. The following graph shows how we allot each person into their respective families." The voice informed. Another image flickered against the screen. It showed four different categories. Each had a numbered amount of deed span written below its respective section. The first one said "Family of Plants"; this belonged to those who had two-hundred and fifty or more bad deeds than good ones... I was suddenly hit by the number of plants that existed on our planet, this meant that all those souls that were plants had committed horrible crimes during their previous lives. The second category was "Insects and Small Animals"; those who have more than a hundred bad deeds than good ones are told to be born in these families. The third one was "Big Animals" those who had similar amounts of good and bad deeds were placed in this category. The last category, "Humans" this category was filled with those who had more good deeds than wrong ones. Looking at these results, I realized how much wrong there was in our planet. How many disgraceful deeds have been committed on this planet? How many times have we done horrible things without even realizing it?

"Samantha, it is now time for you to meet your new family, you will remember this process until your first birthday, after that you shall forget about this. If you are reincarnated as a human seven times, you shall be granted enlightenment. This means that you will have the chance to live on the Island of the Blessed where you shall live in your desired conditions. Up to now, you have been reincarnated as human 3 times, the fate of your future is up to you. Choose wisely." The woman's voice spoke through thin air.

A video appeared on the screen portraying a woman leaning against her bed's headboard, a black pair of glasses sat on the bridge of her nose as she peacefully read her book. Her hair was tied on top of her head in a hastily made bun, her kind, blue eyes skimmed through the pages of Pride and Prejudice. She had a small smile plastered across her face showing that she enjoyed reading. Suddenly the door burst open and the woman glanced up from her book. In came a man with disheveled black hair, a mischievous smirk added to his already handsome features. His eyes glinted with happiness and held a touch of compassion. He sat beside the woman, placing his head on her shoulder and playing with the woman's sweater.

The video ended there, I realized this was going to be my new family, these were going to be my parents and I was surprisingly happy about it...
