6. Anger Issues.

We sat outside for around fifteen minutes before we decided to head back in. Jack had his arm around my shoulder like always and walked me to class.

We had double Psychology, so we then had break after. Kacie, Morgan and I walked to the smoking area and sat down at the same bench I sat on with Jack but people started coming out and crowding the the cage.

"What took you so long when you went to the toilet? Kacie said you've probs got the shits." Morgan says making us all laugh. "No, I don't. Jack texted me and we came out here for a burn." I say making Kacie raise her brows. "Jack doesn't smoke. He hates it. Never even been in here." She says making me frown.

"He asked me to meet him here." I shrug. "Wired." They say at the same time making us all laugh. "Oi, Blue!" We turn and see Harvey, Sam and Brad walking over to us. "Fuckin hell." Kacie sighs before laying her head on the bench.

"Why ya hidin for me, baby?" He smirks as he sits next to her and wraps his arm around her shoulder. "None of you smoke. Why you here?" Morgan asks making them roll their eyes before sitting down. Brad and Sam sit next to me while Kacie is opposite me with Morgan on her right and Harvey on her left.

"Don't you miss us?" Harvey whispers making Kacie sit up and stare at him before blowing the smile in his face. He starts making him self cough and swinging is arms around to move the smoke as we all laugh.

"Anyway Morgan, to answer your question, we came out here cause Jack sent us to make sure poison Ivy was alright." Harvey says making me roll my eyes. "You wanna test how poisonous I am, baby?" I bite my lip and lean forward making him smirk before I slap him, making his head turn to his right and him hold his cheek. Everyone starts laughing as he sulks.

"I don't like you." He pouts. "No hard feelings?" I hold my hand out to him, he shakes it and smiles before we pull away. "I like you." Sam smiles as he throws his arm around me. I lift his arm off me and put it on the table as everyone laughs at us.

"So, you fancy Jack?" Harvey asks making me laugh all of the smoke out of my lungs. "No." I say seriously as I toke my burn. "Why not? I'm pretty sure he's in love with ya." Harvey says as he steals Kacies burn and takes a puff before handing it back and breathing it out of his nose.

"He's not. We've known each other a day. Plus, he's not my type." I say making everyone laugh. "What?" I ask confused. "How's that song go? Oh yeah, 'friends don't look at friends that way' am I right?" Harvey sings making everyone laugh. "Get off of TikTok man." Brad laughs as everyone keeps laughing while I just roll my eyes.

"I hate you all." I mumble as I open my can of red bull and drink half of it. "She's gonna be fun at Jack's party." Sam says making everyone agree. "What party?" I ask after swallowing another mouthful.

"His birthdays next week, he's having a party Friday night." Morgan says as everyone nods. "Have fun then." I smile sweetly before drinking the rest as they all look at me confused. "What'd you mean? You're coming." Sam says making me shake my head. "I'm not invited." I shrug.

"Jack walked into colly with ya. Your definitely invited." Harvey smiles just as the bell rings. "English now." Morgan rolls her eyes as every stands up. "Oh Ivy, make sure to reply to Jack. He said he'll meet you outside your next lesson for lunch." Harvey says as we begin walking out of the cage. "Alright." I nod before following the girls to English.

Towards the end of English, my phone pings, meaning I forgot to put it on silent. "Miss Lewis? Hand it over." Mr Clark says making me scrunch my brows up. "You what?" I ask making Morgan and Kacie chuckle. "Excuse you? How dare you talk to me like that! We run things differently here missy, so your behaviour will not slide past me. Now hand it over or I will be calling home." He says making me chuckle before full on laughing.

"That's not gonna happen. You legally can't take my phone, plus I wasn't even on it. I just forgot to put it on silent after break." I say making him sigh and hold his nose. "No lunch time for you then." He smiles sarcastically as I laugh. "Alright then." I smile before lifting my phone above the table and seeing that Jack messaged me.

What lesson you in?

Before I can reply someone rips my phone out of my hand. "What the fuck are you doing?" I shout as I stand up, looking him in the eyes because he's so short. "I told you no phones." He says slowly. "And I told you that it was illegal so give it the fuck back!" I shout as my anger starts getting bad. "Ivy." Kacie says touching my shoulder before I flinch away and stare down Mr Clark.

"This is your first lesson with me, considering you skipped your first day yesterday. You don't know me, but you will know and respect my rules. Sit down, shut up and get a grip." He says before walking back to his desk with my phone in his hand.

I chuckle before sitting back down and my legs start instantly shaking as I crack my knuckles, trying to release some tension. "Ivy, are you okay?" Kacie whispers as I shake my head. "I'm fucking fuming." I mumble as my legs shake, she places her hand on my leg trying to calm it but it doesn't work, it never does.

"Fuck this." I say before standing up and pushing the table away before grabbing my bag off the floor. I walk over to Mr Clark's desk and grab my phone before he can stop me. "Fuck you, and fuck this class. You tiny fucking cunt." I spit before walking out and slamming the door.

My whole body is shaking as the adrenaline pumps through my veins. Everything I see, I want to either punch or kick. I walk out to the smoking cage and try to calm down, but I can't roll because I'm shaking so much. "Fuck!" I scream at the top of my lungs before punching the bench, cracking it and making my knuckles bleed.

"Ivy? Ivy!" Jack shouts before running over to me and grabbing my hand. "What've you done? What's happened?" He asks worriedly. "I can't roll a fucking burn." I say with my teeth clenched. He strokes my cheek before grabbing my pouch and rolling me one. He puts it between my lips and lights it for me before pulling me to sit against the cage, between his legs as he stroke my hair calmingly.

"What happened darlin?" He asks softly. "I don't know. I just lost it." I breath out as I rest my head against his chest. "Why? Did someone do something?" He asks while stroking my face. "Mr Clark." I say making him nod before kissing my cheek, then playing with my hair again as I smile and calm down.

"Anger issues?" He asks making me nod with my eyes closed as I breath the smoke out of my nose. "Me too darlin." He whispers making me chuckle. "Great pair then." I say making him laugh and nod.

"Eh, we'll make it work." He smiles down at me.
