4. "I Let You Win."

"We're off mum!" I shout as Jack and I put our shoes on at the door. "You got money?" She asks making me nod. "She won't need it Mrs Lewis." Jack smiles as my mum pokes her head out of the kitchen.

"Thank you Jack, I'll pay you back. You too have fun and be safe. And remember that you have collage tomorrow so don't be stupidly late." She says before hugging me and kissing my cheek. "Alright mum. I love you." I smile as we pull away. "I love you too. It was lovely to meet you Jack." My mum smiles while rubbing his shoulder.

"You too Mrs Lewis, don't worry about paying me back." He smiles as she pouts at me. "I like him, if you don't end up marrying him, I will!" She shouts as she walks back into the kitchen making Jack laugh while I just roll my eyes and pull my trackies up above my hips.

"Let's just go, oo wait a sec." I say before running into the kitchen and grabbing two redbulls. "Now I'm ready." I say making him smile and open the door for me. "Thank you." I smile as I walk out of the door with him following me.

"Wait!" Jack runs up behind me and opens the car door for me. "Such a gentleman." I say sarcastically, making him wink before closing the door once I'm in, then getting in his side.

"Where to then?" I ask making him smile as he runs his hands together. "It's a surprise." He says before sorting his music out before driving off.

We drove for about forty five minutes before we arrive but Jack told me to keep my eyes closed while he got out and opened my door. "Keep then closed." He says powerfully. "Yes sir." I say sarcastically as he pulls me gently out of the car and stands behind me while his hands over my eyes.

"This is not safe." I say as I hold his arms and walk slowly. "I've got ya." He whispers in my ears making a chill run down my spine. "Alright, ready?" He asks excitedly as I laugh while nodding. He moves his hands away and it takes my eyes a while to adjust before I see it.

"Bodymoor?" I ask making him smirk. "You know this place?" He asks making me nod. "I may be a hardcore saints fan, but I know football." I say making him smile before throwing his arm around me and walking towards the field.

"You play?" He asks making me shrug. "My ex played for my schools team." I say making him try not to laugh. "Is that as far as he got?" He smirks as I roll my eyes. "At least he tried." I say making him nod while trying not to laugh.

"Oh shut up." I say as I grab the ball from his hands and drop it before running up the field with it as he follows me. "Why are you so fast?" He asks as he runs after me. "Why are you so slow." I laugh before scoring a goal.

"Fuck yeah!" I shout  before jumping up and turn to Jack smiling widely at me. "Hello?" I wave my hand in his face as he just keeps smiling at me. "1-0." He winks before grabbing the ball and and running down the pitch with me on his ass. I quickly act like I'm coming behind him from the right before sneaking to the left and stealing the ball before making my way back up the pitch.

"What the fuck is going on?" He shouts as I score another goal. "I'm winning." I smile before grabbing the ball and booting it to him as he looks at me in shock. He runs to me with the ball as I run to him and plan my attack.

"Now I know why you and your ex broke up." He says making me smirk and raise a brow. "And why did we?" I ask. "Cause you were better at football then him." He winks before turning around and booting the ball in the goal. "One more and we're even, Mr Aston Villa." I wink before running to the ball.

We played for about an hour before he decided to stop and just lay in the middle of the pitch. "Worn out already?" I smile down at him as he smiles up at me before grabbing my arm and pulling me down with him. "Dickhead." I mumble before getting comfy and laying next to him as we look up at the clouds.

"Just so you know, I let you win." He says making me laugh. "Sure you did." I smile as I turn my head to look at him, to see he's already looking at me. "How else am I gonna get you to agree that we're best friends." He says making me roll my eyes and look back up at the clouds.

"Okay Jack, we're best friends." I say making him smile and pull me on top of him. "See, took less then a day for you to fall for my charm." He says making me chuckle. "So now your gonna forget about me?" I say making him shrug before smiling at me.

"After all this work? Nah, your mine now." He smiles before hugging me as I lay on top of him. We stay led on the pitch for a few hours, just talk about our childhood and where we wanna be in ten years.

We watched as the sun went down and the stars came out, just led next to each other and telling each other what we see in the stars. "I'm glad you came up here." He says making me turn and smile at him.

"Me too. I have a feeling this is gonna be a good year." I say making him frown. "Your not leaving me. Like I said earlier, your stuck with me for life." He says making me smile and shake my head. "Okay Jack." I sigh.

His phone starts ringing, so he gets it out of his blue Jean pocket and answers it. "Hey mum." He smiles. "She told you?" He scrunches his brows together before rolling his eyes. "Yeah she's right here, hold on." He says before FaceTiming her.

"Let me see her." His mum says excitedly as he laughs and turns the phone to me. "Hi, Mrs Payne." I say making her smile widely. "She's even more beautiful the Katie said. Hiya darling, how are you?" She says making me smile. "I'm good thanks, how are you?" I ask making her smile at me.

"Much better knowing Jack's with you." She says making Jack hide his face in his hands as his mum and I laugh. "Apparently I'm stuck with him now." I say making her laugh.

"If he's chosen you, you are stuck with him. But that also means your part of the family. So welcome." She says making me smile at Jack. "Thank you Mrs Payne." I say making her shake her head. "Call me Julie, your family now." She says making me smile as Jack smiles at me.

"But it's getting late, so you two should make your way home. You've got collage tomorrow." She says making us nod before sitting up. "Alright, we're leaving now. I'll bring Kate back." He says making her smile. "Alright, the doors unlocked. I love you. It was nice to talk to you Ivy." She smiles as I smile back. "You too, Julie." I wave before I begin walking ahead of Jack.

"I love you too mum. See ya in a bit." He smiles before hanging up and jogging a little before throwing his arm over my shoulder. "But first, we gotta eat." He says making me roll my eyes as I smile.

"I've got food at home." I say making him shrug. "Domino's have food too." He says making me laugh. "We already had maccies." I say making him shrug again. "Cheat day." He smiles.
