24. Back... Home?

It's now Sunday, grandpa dropped my back home this morning and I've been packing and getting ready to drive back to Birmingham. After I've got everything I put everything in my fiesta and drive back up.

After stopping at maccies and Costa, I finally arrived back. "Ivy!" Hazel shouts excitedly making me laugh as she runs into my arms. "God I missed you." I say as I squeeze her tightly. "I missed you more. Why did you leave? I had to deal with Jack, I don't know how you do it." She says making me laugh as we pull away.

"There is no more me and Jack. I'm done with him." I say seriously making her frown. "What? Why?" She asks making me sigh and run my hand through my hair. "I love you Haze, but I really don't wanna talk about. I just want a shower and to sleep." I say making her bite her lip and nod. "Okay, I love you." She says before hugging me again. "I love you more, nut." I say making her smile as I run up the stairs.

After showering I change into some cute matching pjs and watch Shrek on the telly while eating a bag of twirl bites. "Ivy?" Hazel asks as she knocks on the door. "Come in." I say making her poke her head in and smile before walking in and shutting the door. I move over and she lays next to me. "Hey Ivy." Katie says shyly on FaceTime. "Hey baby, how've you been?" I ask making her smile. "Good, i didn't know if you'd be off with me cause of Jack." She says making me roll my eyes.

"Your my sister, no matter what." I say making her smile. "Can we all go out one day this week?" She asks making me nod. "Us three can go out for dinner, where do you wanna go?" I ask making them both think. "Nando's?" They say at the same time making me laugh. "Alright, I've got an interview on Tuesday at 2 so we can go after?" I say making them nod. "Where's your interview?" Katie asks making me smile. "The Queen Liz." I say making them smile. "You gonna serve us then?" Hazel wiggles her brows at me which makes us all laugh.

"When your both eighteen, yeah." I say making them frown before we laugh. "Girls, dinner!" My mum shouts up making me clap excitedly before jumping out of the bed, making them laugh at me. "I'll call you later." Hazel says making me shove my face into the camera. "I love you baby girl!" I shout making her laugh. "I love you too boo." She says making me smile. "Is that Ivy?" I hear Jack say. I pull a face away before running downstairs making them laugh before Hazel follows me.

"Smells lush." I smile as I sit down at the table next to my dad. "Roast lamb, because it's your favourite." Mom says making me smile and kiss her cheek. "Oi, your in my seat." Hazel says making me stick my tongue out at her before we begin eating. "So how was it with nana and gramps?" My dad asks making me smile.

"Perfect, it showed me exactly what I needed and I miss them so much so it was nice to be with them for the week." I say making my parents smile. "They loved having you there. Mum told me you even did the gardening with her." Mum says making me smile. "It was actually really relaxing." I say making her smile.

"You excited to go back to college tomorrow?" Mum asks making me laugh. "Exhilarated." I say sarcastically making her roll her eyes playfully. "Well your taking Psychology, history and music now right?" She asks making me nod. "You think you'll pass history and music, even though you will have only been doing it for a year?" Dad asks making me nod. "Both my teachers said I'll walk it." I say making them smile. "My little smarty pants." Dad messes up my hair making me laugh. "Stop." I say making him smile.

"What about uni?" Hazel asks making me smile. "I've applied for Bournemouth, Southampton and Birmingham." I say making them smile. "Your gonna stay here?" Hazel asks excitedly. "I don't know, I'll see how the rest of the year goes." I smile making her nod sadly. "Hey, I'm always gonna be here though." I says making her smile.

"That was lovely mum, thank you." I smile as I finish my dinner. "Yeah, it's was lush. Thank you." Hazel smiles. "Perfect as always my love." Dad says making me awe at them. "Mum, can I go round Katie's and stay tonight?" Hazel asks making mum smile. "As long as it's alright with Julie." Mum smiles as she takes our plates. "Thank you, Ivy, can you drop me off?" She asks making me nod. "Go and pack, I'll help mum." I say making her nod before running upstairs.

"So do you wanna tell me what happened?" Mum asks quietly as we wash up. "I told Jack I couldn't have kids and that it wasn't any of his business. He then told me that he's a mug because he thought we'd become more then what we are." I say making her nod understandingly. "I know about your agreement, Hazel told me." She says making me roll my eyes. "Hey, I don't think there's anything wrong with it, I know what you're like. But I could tell the day that I met Jack, that he was madly in love with you." She says making shake my head.

"He wasn't." I say making her chuckle and take the plate from my hands and put it down before grabbing my hands. "Nana and gramps are my parents, I know what madly in love looks like." She says making me smile sadly at her. "Are you in love with him?" She asks making me sigh before nodding. "Then what are you gonna do?" She asks making me think back to what nana said to me.

"Say goodbye." I say making her shake her head. "You're a fool." She says making me chuckle and nod. "Probably." I smile as she smiles back at me. "Whatever makes you happy though." She says as she pulls me into her arms. "Thank you mummy." I say making her smile and kiss my temple.

"I'm ready!" Hazel says making us pull away. "Come on then." I say before walking into the hallway and getting keys off the hook. "Be safe!" Mum shouts as we leave. "Are you really done with Jack?" Hazel asks quietly as we get into the car and do our seatbelts. "Yeah." I sigh as I turn to car on.

"Seriously? Your just giving up?" She asks annoyed. I roll my eyes and pull out of the driveway. "What am I giving up, Hazel?" I ask angrily making her shake her head. "A boy that is insanely in love with you. He's been going crazy the past week, you're it for him." She says making shake my head and rest my head in my hand as I drive with my left.

"I love him Hazel, more then I've ever loved anyone. He has the power to break me, and I can't let him do that." I say making her scoff. "How do you know he'll hurt you?" She ask making me stay quiet. "Exactly! Your going off something you don't know, when you do know that he's in love with you." She says as I stop outside Katie's house.

"I don't do love." I say blankly making her scoff and shake her head as she opens the door. "Your a pussy, something I never thought you'd be." She says before slamming the door and walking up the drive. I wait for the door to open, only to see Jack staring at me worriedly.

I look at him for a second, only to want to run into his arms and forget everything that's happened, but I can't, I won't. I shake my head as I look down at myself, ashamed before driving off and going home.
