22. Beach Babe.

We finally arrived at the beach, we met up with my parents and got our stuff set up. I take my clothes off, leaving me in my bikini, as everyone else does too. "Your ribs look bad baby." My mum pouts as she lightly traces the bruises. "I'm alright." I smile making her sigh and nod.

"Ivy, can we go swimming?" Hazel asks making me nod. "You comin?" I ask Jack. "Yeah, race ya!" He shouts before sprinting ahead of us. "Twat!" I shout as Hazel and chase after him. We run into the water and stop and look at each other in shock, from how cold the water is. "I forget we're in England sometimes." I say making them both laugh.

"Just put your head under, then you'll be alright." Jack says making Haz and I grab each other's hands before holding our noses and going under. "I'm gonna kill myself." I say as we both come up making Jack laugh. "You can't leave me darlin." He pouts as he swims over and pulls me into his arms. "Behave then, and don't be a twat." I smile sarcastically as he rolls his eyes before grabbing my face and kissing me angrily. "Shut up." He says against me lips as I get turned on. "We better chill." I whisper making him smirk and bite his lip.

"You fucking tease." He smirks before picking me up and throwing me deeper as I scream. "I fucking hate you." I say as Jack and Hazel laugh at me as I swim back to them. "I will drown you." I threaten Hazel as she keeps laughing at me. "I can swim better then you." She says making me scrunch my face up. "I taught you how to swim." I say making Jack laugh.

"And I taught you how to sneak out." She says making me look around confused. "Bitch, you covered for me when I sneaked out, you didn't teach me. If anything, I taught how to not be a snitch." I say making her roll her eyes before pulling me into her arms. "Okay, whatever." She says making me smile and kiss her head.

We all joked and fucked around for hours, mum and dad kept recording us and joining in. I got a really cute video of Jack and Hazel trying to drown each other before she cheesed him out of the water and he over to me. A couple of my mates joined us; Maggie, Chase, Amber and Hugo. We've all been getting on really well, a few of Hazel's old friends came as well, even though they were supposed to be at school.

"I can't believe your going back tonight." Maggie says as we sit next to each other, as we're all sat in a circle. "I know, but your coming up for New Years, right?" I ask making her nod. "Yeah, we'll be coming up, but I'm still gonna miss you." She pouts as she hugs me.

"Oi Maggie!" Hazel smiles as she runs over and jumps onto Maggie. "Nutty." Maggie smiles as she squeezes Hazel. "I'm hungry." Hazel says as she hangs onto Mag, but stares at me. "Why you telling me? Tell mum." I say making her roll her eyes. "Her and dad are being all lovey dovey." She says making us all turn to see them cuddled up and laughing. "It's cute." I say making her gag. "Can we go to Harry Ramsdens?" She asks making my eyes light up.

"Fuck yeah. Let me roll a burn then we'll go." I say making her smile before doing her handshake with Jack. I roll my burn and light it before walking over to my parents.

"Mother dearest, farther dearest." I say making them turn and smile at me. "Hey sweetheart." They say at the same time, making me smile. "We're going to Harry's, you want anything." I ask making mum grab her bag. "Can you get us two portions of chips and one cod please." She asks as she hands me her card. "And buy everyone else whatever they want." She says making me shake my head. "I'll pay for it." I say making her roll her eyes. "You haven't worked in months." She says making me shrug.

"I saved three grand." I say making her shake her head. "Don't waste it, let me play." She says sternly, I roll my eyes and take it. "Thank you." I smile before hugging them both. "Have fun." She winks as I walk off. "Come on then dickheads." I say making them all mumble something as they stand up. "Put this on." Jack gives me his Nick sweatshirt. "What? I can't walk there in my bikini?" I smirk making him roll his eyes before putting it on for me, then kissing me. "This is mine now, so no." He says making me laugh as he runs his hands up and down my body.

He grabs my hand and we all walk up the beach until we reach the shop. We all go in and order our food before sitting down and waiting. "You haven't been smoking as much recently." Jack says randomly while smiling at me. "Yeah, I've noticed that." Hazel smirks at me. "Oh my god. Are you pregnant?" Amber says making me laugh. "Absolutely not. I haven't had sex." I say making Jack scoff.

"We've had sex multiple times every night we've been here." He says making squint at him. "And day." Hazel rolls her eye making everyone laugh. "So are you two together then?" Chase asks making us shake our head. "They're best friends, who act like they're in a relationship, but without the pressure." Hazel says making Maggie roll her eyes.

"You need to get over your fear of relationships." Mag says making me shrug. "He's the same." I say making Jack smile at me. "Plus, I can't even have kids." I shrug making Jack look at me confused. "You what?" He ask confused. "I can't have kids, I'm infertile." I say making him kiss his teeth and shake his head. "Outside, now." He says as he stands up and walks outside.

"You didn't tell him?" Hazel whisper yells. "Why should I? It's nothing to do with him." I scrunch my face up at her. "Why should you? Because the poor boys in love with you and your sleeping together." She says making me shrug. "We're best friends. We wouldn't have kids together anyway." I say making her and Maggie roll their eyes. "Your blind. Go out and talk to him, nicely!" Hazel says making me roll my eyes and stand up and walk outside.

"What?" I ask with attitude as he leans against the wall. "Why didn't you tell me?" He asks annoyed. "Why did I have to?" I ask making him scoff. "Because we sleeping together!" He says like I'm stupid. "Yeah, I'm fully aware. But we won't be having kids Jack, even if I could." I say making him shake his head. "How do you know that?" He ask with attitude.

"Because we're not together." I say like he's dumb. "Loose the fucking attitude Ivy, or I swear to god..." "You're gonna what?" I cut him off making him sigh. "Don't fuck with me Ivy." He sighs. "How am I fucking with you? Your being pathetic, we're not together, we'd never have kids. It's not your fucking problem!" I say making him shake his head and look at me with hurt eyes.

"Yeah, it's not my fucking problem." He shakes his head before walking off. "Seriously? What's your fucking problem?" I shout as he walks away. "You! Your my fucking problem!" He shouts as he storms over to me until he's in my face.

"Because I'm the mug who actually thought that maybe one day we'd be more then this, that we could be something. But now I know I'm not in your long term plans. Did you really think we could go back to friends after what we've done? That I'd just come round to see you and your family? I thought I was gonna be your family! I thought that what we have would become what we're both scared of, because we loved each other. But I'm just the prick who wanted more." He shouts before he whispers the last sentence while looking at me with tears in his eyes as my tears run down my cheek.

"I do love you Jack, more then I've loved anyone. But that means that you can hurt me more then anyone else can, and I can't give you that power." I say as I wipe my cheek and walk away.
