Abigail's P.O.V.
I took a deep breath and looked around my empty room, the only sound was the rustling of the boxes being filled with my belongings. I took one last glance at the posters on my walls, my bed, my desk, my closet, and my stuffed animals. They had been my companions for years, and now, they were all I had left in this empty room.
"Hey, Abigail, are you ready?" My mom called from downstairs.
I took a deep breath and turned away from the closet. "Yeah, Mom. I'm coming," I replied, making my way towards the door.
As I opened the door, I couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness creeping in. I had grown up in this house, and it was the only place that I had ever called home. But now, it was time to move on, to start a new chapter in my life.
I walked down the stairs, my eyes darting around the empty hallway. My parents had already packed everything up, and all that was left was a few boxes and some furniture.
"Abby, are you okay?" My dad asked, noticing the solemn look on my face.
I nodded slowly, not wanting to show my emotions. "Yeah, I'm fine," I replied, my voice trembling slightly.
My mom wrapped her arms around me, pulling me into a tight hug. "We're going to miss this place too, sweetheart," she said, kissing the top of my head.
"I know, Mom," I whispered, feeling tears starting to form in my eyes.
My dad grabbed a box and walked towards the door. "Come on, let's get going," he said, motioning for us to follow.
We walked outside, and I took one last look at the house. It had been my home for as long as I could remember, but now it was time to leave it all behind.
"Goodbye, old house," I whispered under my breath, before climbing into the car.
As we drove away, I couldn't help but feel a mix of sadness and excitement. Sadness for leaving behind everything I had ever known, but excitement for the new adventure that awaited me in Paris.
I sat back in my seat, looking out the window at the passing scenery. I knew that it was going to be a long journey, but I was ready for it. Ready for the new challenges, the new people, and the new experiences that awaited me in my new home.
"Hey, Abby, you excited to start at your new school?" My mom asked, breaking the silence.
I turned towards her and smiled. "Yeah, I am. I can't wait to see what it's like," I replied, feeling a newfound excitement building within me.
My dad glanced at me through the rearview mirror. "You'll love it, kiddo. Paris is a beautiful city, and there's so much to see and do," he said, smiling reassuringly.
I nodded, feeling a sense of comfort wash over me. I knew that no matter where we went, my family would always be by my side.
And with that thought, I closed my eyes, feeling the car's gentle vibrations lulling me to sleep. It was time to leave everything behind and start anew, and I was ready for whatever life had in store for me.

As I approached the airport with my family, I couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia. The airport was a familiar sight to us, and we had flown from there countless times. However, this time was different. This time, we were leaving Los Angeles for good, and I was nervous about what awaited us in Paris.
"Are you okay, Abigail?" My mother asked, placing a hand on my shoulder as we walked towards our private plane.
"I'm fine," I replied, forcing a smile. "Just a little nervous."
