Guys before you start reading I just thought I'd let you know that I'm thinking of ending this book in about 3-4 chapters. I'll also write an epilogue and then Skenny's story will sadly come to an end!

Scarlet's POV

2 days later

Right now I'm sitting in the hospital room with Kenny waiting for them to release him. Thankfully, the chandelier didn't kill him, however he did have to have a few surgeries to get the glass out of his body, fix some broken bones, and do some blood transfusions from all of the blood he lost. He is one lucky man. A/n guys I do realize that this would probably actually kill someone or at least put them in a full body cast or something, but this is just fiction so let's just go with it :)

As for Jackie, they had to do surgery on her as well to get the huge chunk of glass out of her body, just missing her heart by a few inches. Other than that, she didn't have any severe injuries. The police said that once she's stable enough, they'll take her in and she'll be locked away for pretty much the rest of her life.

"Mr. Holland?" A nurse comes in and smiles, handing us his discharge papers. He signed them and then I let him get dressed quickly before we left.

"I can't tell you how good it feels to finally be out of there," Kenny says as we walk to the car.

"I know, I'm just glad you're okay," I tell him. We then drive back to the hotel (since apparently our apartment was bugged by Jackie's men). I helped Kenny into the bed and decided to watch some television.

~*~*~*

After about an hour or so, I finally turned off the TV and decided to make us some lunch. I decided to make us some BLT sandwiches and also some hot tea. I started the water to let it get nice and hot and got out some other things that I would need to make the sandwiches. About 10 minutes later, I had everything done and decided to go wake Kenny up from his nap.

"Kenny, babe, lunch is ready." I said and shake his shoulder lightly, expecting him to wake up. Instead i'm suddenly grabbed by the waist and cuddled into his warm chest.

"Well this is definitely a surprise," I say as he smiles down at me.

"Shh, just stay quiet and enjoy the moment Scar." He said and hid his face in the crook of my neck. Sighing in defeat, we cuddled for a few minutes until I was finally able to make him get up as we finally ate our lunch.
