Months went by and James was getting weaker and weaker.

Norman is getting worried sick because of it. He visits his Dad even more despite him being busy.

The kids are also spending more of their time with him. After school they immediately go to his room and stay there waiting for him to wake up from his naps.

A week has passed and Norman is in their room sitting on their bed and sighed tiredly.

Ray went in the room and sat beside him. He wrapped his arm around his shoulder and pulled him close.

They were both silent for a bit then Norman spoke.

"I don't know anymore Ray. I'm afraid." Norman said trying to hold back his sobs.

Ray looked at him and gently made small circles on his back.

"I don't want to become king. I mean I do want to become king, but with him well and alive and he will personally tell me that he's abdicating from the throne. Not like this. With his death." Norman sighed.

Ray kissed him on the forehead and caressed his cheek. "You'll be ok. I know he'll live a bit longer so don't worry. If you need any help, we're here for you. Ok?"

"I know. Even though the doctors said he only has one year left to live, but I just....don't know any more." Norman sighed and buried his face in the palm of his hands.

Norman nodded silently and nuzzled his face onto Ray's chest.

Ray hugged him and released his calm pheromones to calm Norman down.

"A family picture?" Norman said as he looked up from the book that he was reading.

"Yes. Let's have a family picture. Including Ray's family. We don't have one, the only family picture that I have in this castle is only yours of course, but I'm not included." James smiled.

Norman thought about it for a moment, he smiled and nodded. "Sure, why not?"

After Norman agreed to James' request he immediately told Ray and of course Ray is happy to do it.

Once they finished with their family photo, James asked Norman to frame their photo and place it in his room right beside his bed.

Months have passed, Christmas Day! (Sorry, I'm a bit lazy also I know that its only 5 more months before Christmas, but whatever.)

"Merry Christmas Grandpa James!" The kids yelled in unison.

James smiled weakly and patted their heads. "Thank you, Merry Christmas kids."

James leaned back on his bed as he watched the kids and family decorate his room and checking the presents.

They thought of celebrating Christmas in his room, since he's too weak to get up and walk.

"Here Grandpa. This is for you." Gavin smiled and placed his gift on his lap.

James looked down and saw a bundle of jasmines on his lap. He smiled at Gavin and thanked him.

"Thank you Gavin. Its lovely."

"Grandpa this is from me. Open it!" Sasha jumped up and down excitedly.

James chuckled and slowly ripped the paper. Inside there was a snow globe. The design was the whole family inside. Including Mama Isabella and Leslie of course.
