Chapter 1: Back to Hogwarts!

A/N: Hiii this is my first book. Please dont expect fast updates as im not very good at writing and i dont have much time to write . I hope you enjoy!!!

Just a few things before i start:
Voldemort never existed in this so there were never death eaters or anything like that. Meaning everyone who died under his order or by death eaters are still alive.
This is after Harry's time at Hogwarts.
Severus never met Lily.

Y/N's POV

Today i'm going back to Hogwarts, i'm a 7th year Gryffindor but i absolutely love potions. I have E/C eyes and H/C hair. I wouldn't say i was really pretty but i still looked alright. Professor Snape is my favourite teacher and hes just so intriguing but so mysterious. I have to admit over the past few years I've developed feelings for him.

I'm currently waiting on for my friends on the platform. They were later than expected as it was 10:55am. The train leaves in 5 minutes they needed to be here soon....

Just then my friends arrived panting from the running they had just done.

"Where have you guys been! We nearly missed the train! Come on we need to get on before it leaves." I exclaimed while they were still catching there breath.

We got on the train and found and empty compartment for the four of us to sit in.

Abby, Jack, Holly and I have been friends since we met back in first year. They were also in Gryffindor and we met the first time we entered the common room. Me, Abby and Holly have a dorm that we share as just the three of us. And Jack stays with some of his other friends.

"So Y/N how was your summer?" Abby asks.

"My summer was okay, just the usual spending time with my dad." I reply.

I live with just my dad as my mother died when i was nine. I have no siblings so I dont really have much to do over the summer. I'm a muggleborn so I live in the muggle world. Me and my dad recently watched this action film called Die Hard. It was interesting and i really liked the terrorists for some reason. Especially Hans Gruber. He just reminded me of someone but i couldn't put a name to it.

"How was your summer guys?" i asked the group.

"It was good." Jack replied

Both the girls said theirs was okay as well. I decided to get a book out and read. I was reading a book called Eragon. I hadn't read much of it but i was quite good so far. It was all about dragons and that sort if stuff. A muggle wrote it so they didn't actually know dragons existed.

After abit of reading i told my friends i was going to go get changed into my robes. On my way to change my robes i ran into none other than Lauren Hutchins. Lauren had bullied me ever since she found out i was muggleborn in my 3rd year... She also happened to be a Slytherin.

"Hey Mudblood!" she shouted making her gang laugh.

I sighed. "What do you want Lauren?" i sneered at her.

She sarcastically gasped at my tone but then her sarcasm turned into anger.

"Watch how you use your tone with me Mudblood, im your superior yoy sgould learn to respect me!" I rolled my eyes at her comment and tried to walk off but then she grabbed me and pushed me into her friends.

She slapped me and then kicked me in the shin making me yelp in pain. She then punched me in the nose and i heard a crack then blood started to run down my face. Her friends dropped me to the floor and Lauren kicked me one last time in the stomach then her and her friends walked off.

I managed to stand and walked to go get changed. I managed to get changed and then got back to the compartment with my friends.

As soon as i walked back in the looked at me with concern and worry. I sat back down and it was silent until Holly spoke.

"Y/N what happened?" she asked with worry lacing her voice.

"I ran into Lauren.." I whispered but my peers managed to hear me. They all gasped shocked that she would do something like that on the train.

"I swear next time I see her i will kill her!" Abby said angrily.

"No Abby it will be fine. I will be fine. Everything will be fine." I said worried she would actually do something. I didn't want things to get worse and so only my friends actually knew she bullied me.

After that we all stayed quiet.

Time Skip. Great hall.

We all sat down at Gryffindor table watching the new students being sorted. Most of them got sorted into Hufflepuff but all house got at least 6 new students.

Professor Dumbledore made his usual start of the year speech much to everyone's dismay.

Soon after food started to appear on all the tables. I took some (Y/F/F) and potatoes and started to eat.

A few minutes later i looked up to the teachers table to find Professor Lupin as our D.A.D.A teacher still. But next to him was Professor Snape. I was staring at his shoulder length black hair and myself onyx eyes. I then looked down to his hands. Oh god his hands...

'His hands roaming my body as he kissed me passionately. Him keeping control of the kiss making sure i didn't take control over him' i thought. I looked back to his eyes while he enganged into his conversation with Lupin. 'His dark eyes never leaving my body as his gaze made its way up to my eyes' i thought.

Suddenly my eyes locked with his as he stared intensely back at me.

Severus' POV.

I was chatting with Remus as I felt someones eyes staring holes into my head. I turned my head searching the hall but then my eyes locked with a pair of E/C eyes. Ahhh Miss Y/L/N. I looked into her thoughts and saw she was fantasizing about... me? But im her professor? But she is very beautiful... NO! I cant think of a student like that.
I look back into her eyes and see that her cheeks are tinted with a slight blush. She was flustered. she looked away embarrassed.

Y/N's POV

He looks into my eyes and i feel a weird tingling sensation in the back of my head. I wonder what that is? I feel my face rise into a blush and i tear my eyes away from the professor.

"Heys guys i'm gonna head to the dorm i'll see you guys later." I said as i got up and left to my dorm.

Was Professor Snape actually looking at me or something else? What was that tingling sensation in the back of my head? I ahd many more questions but no answers.

Okay thats Chapter 1 finished... what did you guys think? Im sorry if theres any spelling or punctuation errors.... I'm not sure when Chapter 2 will be out but I will start it when i have more time!! Hope you enjoyed.  this is just the beginning.
