Chapter 11: Alone time.

Helloooo!!! Finally here is the new chapter! I'm so sorry I haven't updated I've been so busy with practicing for upcoming shows at school and my mental health has been so bad recently.. Anyway on the bright side I'm going to Harry Potter Studios in London on December 15!! Hope you've all been well, enjoy!!

Y/N's POV

It was finally the weekend!! Severus had asked me if I wanted to stay in his chambers for the weekend and of course I accepted. It's also my birthday tomorrow so I can celebrate with him! Things between me and Abby were still awkward but I hope we can resolve it soon.

I was walking down the halls in the dungeons when I finally reached Severus' chambers. I knocked and waited a few minutes, I heard noise on the other side of the door and assumed that's he had finished whatever he was doing. The door opened and Severus stood there in his normal robes.

"Hi Severus!" I said excitedly.

"Hello darling." He replied with a small chuckle at my excitement. "You seem excited.."

"Yep! Excited to see you!" 

We walked inside and I looked around his chambers, his walls were green and black and I have to say it suited him very much. He had a kitchen connected to a small area with a table to eat at. He had a living room with a lot of books and a fireplace, and two doors hitch I'm guessing lead to a bedroom and a bathroom. He also had a desk with papers on that I can only assume are students tests. 

Severus went over and lit the fireplace and sat down on the sofa then glanced at me. He nodded at the seat next to him basically saying I should sit down, I took the seat next to him and he placed his arm around me and pulled me in to him.

"So how was your day love?" He asked me.

"It was good, my classes were alright so things were fine. I'm glad it's the weekend though and I get to be here with you." I replied as I rested my head on his shoulder. "How was yours?" 

"It went alright, there were some arguments in one of my classes but I shut them up by threatening detention, I did hear around though that your birthday tomorrow. You never told me..?"

"Oh yeah sorry I forgot... but I was hoping we can celebrate it together...?"

"Of course we can darling." He said we a smile. "What would you like to do now?" He asked me.

"Well could you read to me?"

"Yes of course."

He reached for book on his coffee table and turned so I could lay my head on his chest and sit between his legs. He started to read love poems to me and so I closed my eyes focusing on the words. His deep voice was sending me to sleep and soon I found myself in a deep sleep.

Time skip a few hours.

I woke up in an unfamiliar place but soon realised it must be Severus' bedroom. I got up out of his bed and found myself in one of Severus' button up shirts. I walked out of the room to see Severus cooking something in his kitchen. I started to tiptoe across the room so he wouldn't hear and as soon as I reached him I wrapped my arms around him. He jumped a bit but when he realised it was me he relaxed and managed to keep on cooking. 

"Did you sleep well my love?" He asked me. 

"Yeah, how long was I asleep?" I replied.

"A few hours." I nodded knowing he would feel the gesture against his back. I let go and stood beside him waiting for him to finish cooking.

He soon finished and turned off the stove. He served up the pasta which smelt amazing and came over to me quickly. He suddenly crashed his lips into mine and I kissed back quite quickly, one of his hands went to my waist while he tangled the other in my hair. One of my hands went to his cheek while the other lay on his shoulder to keep myself steady. We stayed like that for a short while before he pulled away leaving me with butterflies in my stomach.

"Come on, we better eat before it goes cold." He said, I agreed and we took our plates to the table.

We sat down and began to eat the pasta. It was silent but it was more of a comfortable silence. We soon finished and he took the plates away to wash them. 

We went back to sit down on the sofa and as soon as we sat down I grabbed his face and forced my lips onto his. I lay back and he climbs on top of me, he swipes his tongues across my mouth and I open my mouth letting him slip his tongue in. We fought for dominance but in the end he won. Suddenly he pulled away and stood up, I was confused until he put his hand out for me. I took it and he walked me to his bedroom. He lay be down on his bed and instantly got back on top.

"Uh Sev? Only kissing right? I'm not fully ready yet.." I said quietly.

"Of course love, whatever your comfortable with." He replied with a smile. 

I felt safe with him. He connected his lips with mine again and soon our tongues were fighting for dominance again. Of course he won again. 

Before things got too heated we stopped and he lay beside me. He soon cuddled up to me and wrapped his arms around me. A few minutes later I drifted into a peaceful sleep.

Severus' POV

Soon I realised Y/N had drifted off to sleep and I felt relaxed. I had her in my arms and I could tell she was relaxed too.

"Honestly I don't know what I did to deserve you but I promise to protect you through my whole life. I keep falling in love with you more through every passing day, you make me happy." I mumbled to her. I knew she couldn't hear me but i still meant it. A soft smile met her lips and I knew she was having sweet dreams.
