Chapter 2: Potions Class

Heres the next chapter hope you enjoy!! Sorry it isnt that good im generally not in a good mood as i've just been broken up with but i wrote it anyway!!

Y/N's POV

Soon the morning arrived and my alarm clock went off. 6AM. I got up and headed to the bathroom. Abby and Holly were still trying to process waking up where as i was just about to use the shower.

"Girls i'll be in the shower!!!" i shouted over the flowing water hoping they heard me. I was reassured as i heard a muffled 'okay' i presumed that th egirls had pushed there face into a pillow not wanting to get up.

I stepped into the shower, warm water trickling down my body as i washed my  H/C hair with my shampoo and conditioner. I finished washing my body and stepped out of the shower taking a flannel and drying the excess water off my face. I got changed into my gryffindor robes and dryed my hair using a spell. I applied some concealer to my face along with mascara and clear lipgloss.

I brushed my hair and walked out the bathroom to see the girls still in bed.

"Get up now! You dont want to be late!"

They groaned and got up to get ready.

Soon enough they were ready and we walked out the dorm. We got down to the common room and met with Jack.

We left the common room and by the time we got to the great hall it was 7am. We walked in and my eyes were immediately met with dark ones when i looked up at the teachers table. Oh god Snape is staring at me.

We took out seats and started to eat. I had pancakes with syrup and pumpkin juice as my drink.

After we ate we just started to chat about our classes.

Soon enough we had to go to class and I had potions. Oh god. This will be 'fun'. Luckily i had it with Jack. We walked down to the potions classroom and waited by the door.

Soon enough Snape came and opened the door. He took a glance at me to see im already staring. He raised an eyebrow but carried on walking in.

Me and Jack sat down at our desks and just waited for class to start. The room started to fill with students and class started.

"Today we will be studying amortentia. We will learn about it for next few weeks until we actually make it." Snape said unenthusiasticly. "So get out your books and read from Page 132. to 135."

Jack put his hand, "Sir if im not mistaken, Amortentia is a sixth year potion." Snape growled at him.

"Don't you think i know that? We never got round to it last year so we are doing it now. So turn to page 132." Snape hissed.

We started to read and take notes from the book. Jack nudged my shoulder and i looked at him with a questioning look.

He whispered,"Throw this at Snape!" whilst holding a paper aeroplane

"Jack I'll get detention!!"

"He won't know it was you."

I took the paper and threw it at Snape's back. 'He's gonna kill me.' i thought whilst he turned around.

"WHO THREW THAT?!" he yelled at the class. He looked everyone dead in the eye until he got to me. He looked me in the eye coldly and said, "Miss Y/L/N, Detention at 6pm. Don't.Be.Late."

"But sir-" i started before he cut me off.

"I said detention!" he hissed unemotionally.

Time skip. Y/N's POV.

At 5:50pm I headed down to the potions classroom and got there two minutes early.

I knocked on the door and waited patiently.

"Enter." he said.

I walked into the classroom to see him at his desk grading papers.

"Sit across from me." he said quietly.

I sat at his desk and let my thoughts wonder.

'Oh god he's so attractive up close. How did i not realise?' I looked down to his hands. 'Oh his hands. The things they could do to me.' I looked up to see a shocked look on his face.

Severus' POV

I looked at Y/N to see her staring at me. Well- my hands really. I heard her thoughts and was shocked.

"May I ask why you are staring at my hands?" i asked already knowing the answer.

"Oh- uh- no reason, sorry." she said flustered.

I smirked at how she went so red when i asked her that. I went up to to make two cups of tea but i slipped some Veritaserum into hers. I came back and handed her the tea.

"I heard your thoughts. I know what you were thinking about. Tell me how do you feel about me?" i asked waiting to know the answer.

She looked nervous but answered anway.

"Okay listen sir I know its inappropriate but I like you. Like a lot and not in a student - teacher way." she slapped her hand over her mouth and i smirked.

She got up and over her seat and ran over to the door.

"Wait Y/N!" i shouted but she was already gone.

"i feel the same way about you..." i mumbled sadly.

Y/N's POV

I ran up to my dorm ignoring Abby Holly and Jack calling me name. I collapsed onto my bed embarrassed about what had just happened. I didn't even mean to say it. It just came out.

I confessed my feeling to my potions master. He's going to make my life living hell now. Oh god what do i do...

I started crying into my pillow but soon enough i drifted to sleep gently thinking about my potions professor...
