Chapter 13: Birthday Part 2

Oml hiii its been a while since  updated lmao- ive been so busy. Anyway enjoyyy.

Y/N's POV

We had been laying on the sofa for a while now and Sev had let me put my Taylor Swift record on. We were both reading separate books while I was humming to the music.

I then have a great and idea and get up from between Severus' legs. He looks at me with a confused face and frowns.

"What's wrong darling, why did you get up?" he asks me in an upset tone.

"I want to try something." I reply. He looks confused again and I pull out my wand. "Accio Elvis Presley record." I say clearly. I was so happy when Sev got me that record player because it meant I could play all my collected records.

I put my all time favourite love song on, and pull Severus up from the sofa.

"What are you doing?" he asks me.

"We are gonna dance." I say with a soft smile tracing my lips. He trys to look annoyed but ends up with a smile on his face.

We start to slow dance and we both can't help but smile at eachother happily.

"I didn't know you liked Elvis." Severus says to me.

"I only like a few of his songs but my dad loves him so I just have it in my collection." I reply

Shall I stay?

Severus dips his head down so his lips can meet mine in a loving kiss as we continue to dance.

He pulls away with a smile still playing on his face.

"I hope your enjoying your birthday sweetheart." he says to me.

"I am. I'm happy I get to spend it with you." I reply.

The song comes to an end and me and Severus go back to the sofa. I sit inbetween his legs again and lay my head on his chest.

"So what other Elvis songs do you like?" he asks me.

"Well obviously I like 'Can't Help Falling in Love' but I also like 'It hurts me' and 'If I can dream'. Do you like his songs?" I reply softly.

"I do, I like those ones too, 'If I can dream' is actually my favourite but i also like 'Kentucky Rain'." he answers.

I smile and look up enough to see his forehead. I must look really silly doing this. He chuckles and smiles at me.

"Come on, lets get some dinner." he says to me.

"ughh I'm not really hungry, can we just have pot noodles." I ask.

"We can do but that's not really a lot, you should be eating more."

"Like I said I'm not really hungry. We can have birthday cake as well though."

He agrees and gets up to go noilnthe kettle. He cuts some cake while he waits and once he's done he comes and sits back down. He says we can eat this, read for a little longer then go to bed.

A few hours later we were in bed with my head on his chest and our legs entwined.

"Thank you for today Sev." I say followed by a yawn.

"No problem my love." He replies as I start to drift to sleep.

Im living off of pot noodles rn like thats all ive been having for the past week. Anyway enjoy your weekend and stay safe.
