Fourtris:It was an accident...

Ch.4:Worst,second,fear

Today is another practice day for our fear simulation tests.We've been practicing them for a while now.People are starting to get traumatized.

Tobias isn't talking to me.I guess we are broken up...

I don't know why he got so jealous.Uriah and I are good friends,there's no way we'd get together.Besides,he has a crush on Marlene.

I should start calling him Four again.What's the point of calling him Tobias if we aren't going to be connected anymore?

"Alright!Today is another day of practice,"Tob-I mean Four,explains."This fear is going to be your,second,worst fear.I expect all of you to do better than last time."

We nod.

"After today's practices are done,I'll tell you your rankings."

We nod again.

He clears his throat,"So,first up is Will."

Will gulps.He stands up and walks over to Four.They enter the room.

"Hey,"Chris whispers,"How come Four doesn't even acknowledge you anymore?"

I start to panic.

Should I tell her?

I shrug,"Uhm....I have something to tell you,but not just yet..."

She narrows her eyes at me,but then shrugs,"Alright."

I close my eyes and let out a breath.

Soon,Will comes out.He looks shaken up.

Christina stands up and hugs him,"Are you ok?"

He shakes his head and sits.

Christina rubs his back to soothe him.

Four comes out again.His eyes lock on mine for a few seconds,until I look away.

"Tris."

I sigh.I stand up and walk over to him.He moves aside,letting me enter.I sit on the chair.I lie down.Four closes the door.He walks over to the computer,beside me.

"How are you?"he asks.

I don't look at him,I know his eyes are on me.I keep my eyes on the ceiling."Fine."

I see him nod,from the corner of my eye.

He types on his computer,"Do you know what fear this is?"

I shake my head.

He grabs the syringe,that already has the serum.He walks around the computer and comes next to me.His eyes scan my face.

I look into his eyes and see that light shade of blue I saw from the night I stayed in his apartment.I always get lost in his eyes.

He moves my hair aside.He sticks the syringe in my neck.

Once the serum is in my body,he takes the syringe out.He puts it on the tray.

My eyes start to get droopy.Everything around me starts getting blurry.

"Be brave Tris."

Then my eyes shut,and I go into deep sleep....

I'm in Four's apartment.

Wait?Four's apartment?What am I doing here?

Four walks into the room.He sees me and smiles.He walks over to me.He puts his hand on my cheek.His thumb skims my cheekbone.

He leans down and kisses me.I start to kiss him back.

Even though this isn't real,I wish it was.

I really wish for this to be real.

He pulls back.

He kisses me again and we fall on the bed.

We get undressed.

We get under the covers.He kisses me again,then thrusts into me....

Were putting our clothes back on.

When I'm done,I stand up.I walk over to him.

He stands up and walks past me.

I frown.

"Didn't you know that you're not the only girl I've slept with?"he asks.

His voice sounds nothing like Four's,because Four's voice isn't that low.

"What do you mean?"I ask.

"I mean that I don't love you.I don't love,I screw.It's the kind of guy I am,deal with it.You're just some sixteen year old girl that I screw with."

I start getting tears in my eyes,why would he say that to me?

He scoffs,"Don't cry.Now you know to be careful about who you trust here in dauntless."

I start letting tears out.

"Shut up!"he yells.

He puts his hand up and slaps me across the face.

I hold my cheek.

He leans down,"Get up."

And I do...

My eyes snap open.Four is looking at me,shocked.

"What?"I snap.

"What really is your fear in that one?"he asks.

He stares at me with sympathy,but I don't need it.

I shrug,"Being beaten,being used,being heartbroken..."

He tenses up when I say 'beaten'."Well,you got out in three minutes.You need to be faster.Just fight me off and it'll be over quick."he says.

I frown,"What do you mean by 'me'?"

He shrugs,"Im the one that's doing that,so,fight me off."

I nod.

He types on his computer.

I get off of the seat.I start walking towards the door.

"Hey uhm...Tris?"

I turn around to look at him,"What?"

He shakes his head,"Never mind."

I walk out of the room and start heading back to the dorms.
