"Good job,Beatrice,"Susan says.She smiles at me,"You did five piles.That's more than what experienced people do."

I smile back at her,wiping sweat off of my forehead,"I just do what I have to do.I didn't even know I would do so many."

She laughs,"Always expect the unexpected."

She waves her hand towards the cafeteria,"Go get a snack,you're done for the day."

"Thank you,Susan,"I say,walking towards the cafeteria.

She waves,"You're welcome."

As I'm waking,I debate whether I should go see Tobias work or not.

I have nothing better to do...

I take a turn,and start walking towards the amity working fields.

As I'm walking,someone bumps into my shoulder,almost knocking me down.

I turn around,"Hey!"I call out.

The person turns around,

Peter...

My hands clench into fists at my sides,"Did you not see that you 'accidentally' bumped into me?"

He shoves his hands into his pockets.He smiles innocently at me,"Yeah,I saw,and?"

"Aren't you going to apologize?"I ask,annoyed.

He looks up.He shakes his head,"Nah,Im ok."

I groan in frustration and lunge at him.

But before I can even touch him,a pair of strong arms wrap around my waist,pulling me back.

Tobias...

Peter has a look of shock on his face.

I try to get out of Tobias's strong hold,but it's too strong.

"Peter,"Tobias says,trying to keep me back,"What did you do?"

Peter shrugs,"I was just walking by,and she suddenly got crazy."

This makes more anger course through my body.

I start slapping Tobias's arms,hoping he'll let me go.

But of course,he doesn't.

Tobias looks at me for a second,then back at Peter,"I don't think that's true."

Peter rolls his eyes,"Fine,I bumped into her,and she almost fell.She started getting crazy because I wouldn't apologize."

"Don't forget the part that you did it on purpose,"I butt in.

Peter shakes his head.He starts walking away,"Later!"

Tobias turns me around.I look up at him."Why'd you freak out like that?"he asks.

I shrug,avoiding his eyes,"I-I don't know.He just makes me so mad.I didn't want to have to meet him here."

"Tris,"he says.

I keep avoiding his eyes.

"Hey,"he says,"Tris,look at me."

I look up.

He puts his hands on my shoulders,"Don't get so crazy again,ok?"

I nod,"Ok."

He smiles.

I wrap my arms around him,and pull myself flushed against him.

He wraps his arms around my waist.
