Ch.13:Evelyn....

"Ok,now we jump!"Edgar yells.

Edgar jumps off of the train,along with other factionless.Tobias jumps after Edgar.

Caleb jumps,along with Susan.I jump after them.

I land on my feet then roll forward,coming up to a standing position.

Tobias walks over to me.He puts a hand on my shoulder,"You alright?"

I nod,"Yeah."

He nods,"Ok,lets go."

Caleb and Susan follow us.

"Over here!"Edgar yells.

We follow Edgar's lead.

We enter a building,or an underground hide-out.We see lots of factionless building things,or working on something.

Edgar comes to a stop.We stop as well.He stands in front of a bunch of factionless.

"We found him,"he says.

The factionless move out of the way,revealing Evelyn Eaton,Tobias's mother.

I thought she was dead?I was at her funeral...

Caleb leans by my ear,"I thought she was dead?"

Susan leans forward as well,"Me too..."

"Yeah,"I say,"So did I."

Evelyn smiles at Tobias,"Tobias..."

Tobias nods his head at her,"Evelyn..."

Evelyn waves her hand at us,telling us to follow her,"Why don't I treat you and your friends to some dinner?We'll talk then."

Tobias nods,"Alright then."

She smiles at him.

She walks away.

Tobias follows her.I follow him,Susan and Caleb follow me.

We enter a dining room.Evelyn sits down on a chair at the end of the table.Tobias sits across from her.I sit next to Tobias.Caleb sits next to me and Susan sits across from him.

Plates of food get set down in front of us.Caleb automatically starts eating.

I cross my arms over my chest and lean back into my seat,"Can someone please tell me what's going on here?"

"First,I would like to know who all of you are,"Evelyn says.

Tobias looks at me,"This is Beatrice Prior,or Tris Prior."He looks at Caleb,"That's Caleb Prior."He looks at Susan,"And that's Susan Black."

Evelyn raises an eyebrow,"Priors?And are you fugitives?"

"Well,I wouldn't consider us 'fugitives',"I say.

Evelyn rolls her eyes,"Call yourself whatever you need to honey."

I look down and roll my eyes as well.

"I would like if you spoke to my girlfriend in a kind manner,"Tobias says.

Evelyn's eyes widen,"Girlfriend?Oh Tobias,you can do so much better..."

My head snaps up to her,"Excuse me?"

She laces her fingers together and looks at me innocently,"I just said that he deserves someone better than you."

"No I don't,"Tobias says.

Evelyn turns her head to him.

Tobias looks straight into her eyes,"She is the best thing that has ever happen to me,so if you want me to stay here and be your son again,you have to learn how to accept her."
