Baekhyun had hurriedly left the restaurant and drove to Sarang's apartment after she ended that call, but nobody answered the door. She wasn't there the next morning either, when he stopped by before his interview schedule.

Throughout his interview, smiling and cracking jokes and promoting his new album the way he was meant to, he kept thinking of her. Sarang did call. According to Chanyeol, she called plenty of times.

It was distressing last night when she didn't believe him, but Baekhyun realized his story sounded like an excuse, as if he was just throwing Kwang Ji under the bus to save face. But his blood still thrummed at the knowledge that she called, that he mattered to her.

That was all Baekhyun needed to know. Now, he was determined to get her back.

After the interview, Jiseok was already waiting for him outside of the studio. As one of EXO's managers, Jiseok was assigned to temporarily fill in Kwang Ji's position as Baekhyun's solo manager. This was after Baekhyun had called straight for SM's higher ups to request a manager change last night. They were confused on such short notice, but he had insisted that he either get a new manager or worked alone.

"Good work back there." Jiseok said, patting him on the back as they headed out of the building.

"Sorry for suddenly putting you on the job, hyung. I know it's supposed to be your day off." Baekhyun said apologetically, both of them walking together towards the manager's car.

"It's fine, don't apologize. But what happened?" Jiseok asked, unlocking the car. He climbed onto the driver's seat whilst Baekhyun went towards the passenger seat. "I saw you talk to Kwang Ji last night before you left, then this morning I'm suddenly taking his job."

Baekhyun sighed, blood boiling again as he recollected the strain Kwang Ji put between him and Sarang. "I have a- well, had a girlfriend, Sarang. First he pissed me off after he told her she'd get me into scandals if she stuck around, but I thought that was it," he shook his head, "Then I found out he also blocked her number on my phone."

Jiseok furrowed his brows, "He blocked someone without your permission?" Baekhyun nodded and Jiseok's brows just dipped deeper. "He admitted it?"

"Yeah, but I knew he did it before he admitted to it." Baekhyun looked down when his phone lit up with a Line notification from Chanyeol.

"That's really serious, I didn't think Kwang Ji could do that." Jiseok mulled, but Baekhyun had stopped listening.

On his phone, Chanyeol had forwarded a wedding invitation text.

Baekhyun's eyes went back to the invitation, reading the names one more time. Of course, Cho Jun Ho. The name Jun Ho must've slipped past his mind, since Sarang only ever said 'Jun'. Baekhyun looked at the date, 27th of May. "Hyung, do I have a schedule tomorrow?" Baekhyun asked.
