SAPNAP POV

"Will you stop pacing around? You're making me nervous" Angela said annoyed as she watched Sapnap walk around the room aimlessly, the slippers he wore making a rhythmic 'pomf' at his every step. She had told him about ten minutes prior that Karl would come to visit him today in a bit, and since then he couldn't stay still, he maniacally kept checking his hair and clothes, even though he still wore a hospital gown, which wasn't the most stylish thing.

"It'll be fine Sap, Puffy is accompanying him, once they arrive we'll leave you two lovebirds alone so you can chat" she teased, earning a glare in response "Ok ok I'll stop alright," she said with a sigh "How's your throat feeling? Better?" she asked.

Sapnap passed a hand over his bandages, they had reduced in numbers over the past week and now there were only two or three layers of it. To be completely honest, it still hurt like hell to swallow food and drink, but the pain toned itself down to at least a bearable level recently.

This doesn't mean it was completely gone, if before it felt like he was drinking hot lava, now it just felt like a really hot tea. He didn't even remotely try to speak, understanding that it would only bring him back to square one.

He sighed, nodding.

"You don't look convinced, do you want me to go get the doctors to check on you?" she proposed. Her action made Sapnap smile, even though she acted and was an annoying person, she was also really caring about her friends.

He shook his head and pointed at her arm, which was still in the cast.

"What? Do you expect me to eat a golden apple and instantly heal? For you and me both it's gonna take some good fucking time before we can go back to our old selves buddy" she said sarcastically, grinning "Besides, it's not like you need your voice when you'll kiss Karl" 

'I take back everything i just said, she's the worst' he thought annoyed. 

Their conversation, if you can call it like that, got interrupted when they heard a knock on the door.

"Oh! That must be them, I'll go get it" Angela warned, standing up and heading towards the door, seeing Sapnap run back at his bed out of the corner of her eye, quickly adjusting his hair for possibly the millionth time. She chuckled, shaking her head and opening the door, getting greeted by a very excited Puffy and a nicely dressed Karl.

"Hi my rainbow girl, how are you?" she hugged her "I'm doing fantastic, but I should be the one asking the question. After all, you are the one who got shot" Puffy said with a laugh.

"You got shot too, my friend" Angela remarked, the two both ending up laughing "Touche" 

She looked over at Karl, who was wearing a pair of blue jeans and a purple shirt with a green spiral in it's center, weirdly enough, each sleeve was of a different color, like if someone had shredded to pieces different clothes and then stitched them together randomly.
