~Visit #1~
Today is my first doctor's visit with Dustin, we have his appointment first, then we have my appointment with the OBGYN so we can get an ultrasound to make sure that we are in fact pregnant. We were sitting in the hospital room waiting for Dustin's doctor to come, little did I know his doctor is a woman. She walked into the room with a bright smile on her face, she was really pretty, she had blond hair with light caramel highlights. Her eyes were an icy shade of blue, she was about my height and to say the least I was jealous. She walked into the room without even taking a single glance at me. She wrapped her arms around Dustin's neck hugging him, I stepped forward about to speak when she beat me to it.
"It's so good to see you again Dustin, how've you been?"
God even her voice was fucking perfect and I fucking hated so he gets a sexy female doctor and I bet I get a gay guy the fuck is this shit?
"I've been good, I got married a month and a half ago."
She smiled at him.
"Oh so who's the lucky girl?"
I cleared my throat and she turned around not getting that I am his wife, she shook my hand.
"Oh are a friend of Dustin's, I was hoping I would get to meet his lovely wife."
I shook her hand and held up my left one showing her my wedding and engagement rings.
"I'm his lovely wife, thanks for the compliment without actually meaning to compliment me."
Her eyes went wide, and she started freaking out.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry, I had no clue and if I did I would've introduced myself the second I walked in and saw you."
"Oh so you admit you saw me here, and you just ignored me?"
I looked at Dustin and pointed to her.
"Is this chick for real?"
He just shook his head pointing at me signaling me to come over to him, I walked over to him and stood between his legs. I looked down at the floor, I saw his finger's come up and under my chin to make me look at him.
"I love you."
He said, making me smile.
"I love you too."
I said I looked back at the doctor then to him, I walked over to the chair that was on the other side of the room, he smiled at me and the doctor went on with what she had to say.
"Alright Dustin, at this point in your cancer I honestly think that you should consider chemotherapy or even radiation therapy to try and get rid of the cancer."
He looked at me before looking back up at her.
"Is there still that chance that the therapy will kill me before the actual cancer itself?"
"Well yeah that's always a risk bu..."
He stopped her there.
"Then my answer's still no, my wife's pregnant, I want to be there to see my baby so my answer's still no. How long do I have if I don't get the therapy?"
He asked, I just sat there holding his hand offering my support.
"Maybe a year or two but not much longer than that."
He nodded his head but I had a question.
"How long will he have if he gets the therapy and survives it? I'm just curious."
