It's not exactly a homecoming dress but the glowing lights zigzagging down the suit are sort of giving off neon party vibes; as is the blue magic blasting from my hands that flies me through the sky.

'SUNDAY, if dad calls, tell him not to worry. I've thought this through.'

'Of course Katy.'

I approach the school from the back entrance to avoid being seen. I can hear the shouts and screams inside, the beating base from the disco. It sounds like fun. The loud crash that could only be those weapons snaps sparks to my fingers. I land quietly on the ground and creep past the buses. A man has already been tied up in webbing.

'Ned?'

'Ion Girl! You're here!'

A familiar whoosh lands behind me.

'Katy?'

'Peter.'

He's in the older suit, the original suit. He looks like a dork.

'I came to help.' I stammer, suddenly losing all confidence in my plan but, to my surprise, Spiderman smiles.

'Good, because I need you.'

My lips twitch into a grin. 'Fill me in.'

'Ok, so, it turns out the winged man is actually Liz's dad-'

'What?!'

'And he knows I'm Spiderman.'

'Well that's... unexpected.'

'We've got to catch him before he leaves town.'

'Ok.' I nod. 'Let's go.'

Peter turns to Ned. 'We're gonna need a guy in the chair.'

Ned grins widely. 'What do you want me to do?'

'Get a computer and track my phone.' Peter instructs.

'And call Happy Hogan.' I add. 'He's head of security. He can get through to my dad and let him know what's happening.' I turn to Peter. 'How much webbing do you have?'

'Not a lot, why?'

A mischievous grin crosses my face. 'I've got an idea.'

...

'Flash, we need your car and phone.' Peter threatens in a deep voice as we land on top on top of his expensive Audi.

Flash glances me between the two of us. 'Sir, Miss, technically this is my dad's car.'

Purple sparks dance around my fingers which quickly prompts Flash and his date to leave the car. Peter and I high-five when we clamber in, laughing as Flash nervously flinches when I turn on the engine.

'Have you ever driven before?!' Peter shouts, panicked as I steer chaotically down the street.

'Well, I've flown a Chitauri chariot, how different can it be?'

'I think quite different.' Peter squeaks, as he begins dialling Ned's number. 'Ned, have you tracked my phone?... We're in Flash's car... No, I don't think Katy actually knows how to drive.'

'Hey!' I frown. Though he may have a point.

'Ned's called Happy, something about catching a flight?'

'Yeah, it's moving day.' I say nonchalantly. Then both our eyes snap to each other.

'It's moving day!' We say at the same time.
