October 6th 2015:
Happy drove me to the facility later that night.
'I don't know what I would have done without you and Peter.' He kept saying, apologising again and again for not listening.
'It's okay Happy.' I reassured him. 'Peter and I did fine. More than fine, we did great. And really, I should be thanking you because if it wasn't for you, Peter and I wouldn't be friends again.'
'Friends?' Happy scoffed. 'That's what you're calling it? Don't think I didn't see-'
'Ok, ok. Just don't tell dad.'
...
'So... you thought this through?' Dad stood at the door with his arms folded. I felt like I'd been caught sneaking out. Which technically I had, and it was illegal, but it wasn't like I snuck out to get drunk.
'Yes. We caught the guy selling the weapons.'
'Happy informed me.' Dad stated bluntly. I felt like I had disappointed him. Luckily mum stepped in.
'Oh quit pestering the girl Tony. What she needs is a shower and a warm meal.' Mum scolded, leading me into the facility.
'Wait!' Dad called after us. 'Is that the Sokovia suit?'
I nodded.
'I thought you never wanted to wear it again.'
'I guess I found a reason to.' I shrugged. A small smile creeped across his face, and mine too.

After four years, I have left New York. I've said goodbye to the tower, goodbye to school, and goodbye to my friends. It's been a long season, over a year, but piece by piece my shattered glass has been glued back together. I have been found.
Dancing with Peter tonight, I could have stayed there forever. That kiss, not even the kiss, but his hands and smile... I could think about it all night. But I have a lot to do and not a lot of time. It's funny, there's only a few pages of this diary left, as if somehow it knows this chapter is coming to an end. It's time to start a new one, a story I want to write. I know what I'm going to do with this one though. I'm going to leave it with one final word:
Serendipity (English) ~ The chance occurrence of events in a happy way
Like meeting you Peter.
I can be your hero baby I hum softly to myself as I unfold the crumpled piece of paper tucked in the drawer: To Do Before.... I tick off the second last one. Fix relationship with Peter. I smile quietly to myself, then look at the last box. The pen hesitates. I think I can do it. It's not about being perfect or feeling 100% but I think I deserve to say I have Found Happiness Again. And with all the boxes ticked, my list is complete. I can be at peace. The paper is tucked back into the drawer.
I stare at the grey walls of my room, the unpacked boxes surrounding me and a book covered in brown wrapping paper on the desk. My phone pings with another message from Peter.
Did you get home ok?
'So...' Dad enters my room. I quickly drop my phone. 'You and Peter?'
My eyes widen. 'What do you mean "me and Peter"?'
'I meant tonight. Why? What did you think?'
'Nothing, I just... never mind. He was amazing dad. I've never seen anything like it. I mean, he saved us from being crushed when the building fell-'
