I woke up abruptly with the intense urge to pee and got out of bed, rushing towards the bathroom. The minute I had finished relieving myself, I glanced down, noticing that I bled all over my Victoria's Secret Lace Waist Hiphugger Underwear. Of fucking course... Today would be the day I get my goddamn period. So... let's recap, shall we? Vivian kisses Mia, and I get rejected by my girl. I then have constant painful nightmares, and what? Now, this?! What the hell else is going to happen to me today?

I let out a frustrated sigh and took them completely off after flushing the toilet. I promptly reached the sink, turned on the cold water, and began to scrub out the blood so that hopefully, they wouldn't be stained when I finished washing them. After spending a minute doing this, I could tell that my underwear was salvageable, fortunately, and I felt relieved. Thirty seconds later, I rang them out, making sure they were no longer soaked, and placed them into the hamper.

I decided I needed to take a nice, warm shower and refresh myself. Not to mention, the heat and steam help relax my body from these damn cramps. Maybe this is why I have been so damn emotional lately? I removed the remaining of my dirty clothes and walked back into the bedroom to gather my clean ones. Once in there, I found my phone and saw that Mia left me on read, again, causing me to clench my jaw a bit.

I returned to the restroom and began my shower ritual, taking my time just to let everything wash off of me... literally. By the time I finished, dried off, got dressed, and made it back to the room, I checked my phone and was shocked to see that a full hour had passed. Shit. Oh, well. I needed that, and now I have to see if Mia even came home last night.

After combing my damp hair, I exited the bedroom and proceeded down the hallway, searching for my girl. If she did get home, she would probably be sleeping on the couch, which I hope isn't the case because I asked her to wake me. As I turned the corner to enter the living room, an alarm ringtone went off, which scared the shit out of me because I wasn't expecting it.

There, sleeping on the couch, was Mia, and I couldn't help but feel happy to see her, but that quickly vanished when I remembered my text to her last night. Are you fucking kidding me? She couldn't reply to me, call me, or even wake me up to let me know she came home even after I asked her to? Why didn't she do any of that? Does she not care about me and what I need or ask anymore?

Mia's phone alarm started going off as I stood above her and watched her sleep. It seemed to not wake her up, for whatever reason, so I knew I needed to do it. If not, I'm sure she will just sleep the entire day away. I bent down next to the couch and nudged her a bit, calling her name a few times. After about a minute of doing that, Mia's eyes opened, and I couldn't help but notice how very bloodshot they were. God, she looks so damn tired. I don't think she is sleeping enough, but... she would sleep better if she slept in our bed like she is supposed to do...

"Why are you sleeping on the couch?" I asked as I got back up into a standing position.

"I had a lot of work to do, so I decided to sit out here while I did it. I never intended to fall asleep, though," Mia stated, then yawned as she sat upright.

"You used to always do your work in the bed with me, even when we were younger. What has changed? Is it that bad to be in the same bed as me? Oh, and whatever happened to you waking me up when you got home, you read my message... So, why didn't you?" I pressed, slightly peeved, and she gave me a sincere expression.

"I'm sorry, baby; I didn't want to wake you. I know that you still have a lot of homework and studying to do, and you looked exhausted even as you slept. I was considerate," Mia explained, and I let out a frustrated sigh.
