It had been two weeks since we made up from our big fight, and today marks our eighth year together. For the past four years now, Mia was the one to surprise me with a beautiful, romantic evening on our anniversary. Somehow, she made it happen effortlessly and always made me feel like the most special person in the world. This time, however, I want to do it. I think today gives me the perfect opportunity to make her feel like the most special person in the world, my special person.

Mia: "Happy Anniversary, baby; I love you so much. I hope you are having a great day at work today. I can't wait to get home and be with you and in your arms, where I belong."

Bri: "I love you more! Happy Anniversary to you too, honey. My day is going well so far, thank you, and I can't wait for that as well."

Suddenly, a knock on my office door pulled me from staring at my response to Mia. As Tobias walked in, sitting in the chair across from me, I said, "Thank you for coming. I wanted to catch up and see how things are going for you."

"Has Angelica given you a hard time after we last spoke?" I continued, and he shook his head. She hasn't? Interesting, I wonder if that documentary got through to her.

"S-s-she a-apologized t-to m-m-me," Tobias said, causing my eyebrows to raise in a shocked manner. I wasn't expecting that.

"Wow, really?" I replied, and he nodded in agreement.

"Y-yup." He answered.

"A-a-also, Z-zachary a-a-and M-megan i-invited m-me t-t-to e-eat w-w-with t-them d-during l-l-lunch n-now t-t-too," He revealed, and I smiled, feeling very glad that he has made a couple of friends now.

"I'm pleased to hear that, Tobias, and how are your classes going?" I asked, and he smiled.

"T-t-t-they're g-going g-g-great. I t-talk m-m-more i-in M-mrs. S-sanders c-c-class n-now, a-a-and n-no o-one m-m-makes f-fun o-of m-me," Tobias responded, and I smiled happily at his words.

"That's amazing! I'm proud of you," I stated, and he grinned but stopped when it seemed like something crossed his mind that upset him.

"What is it?" I inquired.

"M-megan h-has b-b-been f-fighting w-w-ith h-h-her b-boyfriend, I w-w-was w-w-ondering i-if y-you c-c-could h-help h-h-her. S-she d-d-doesn't s-s-smile a-anymore d-during l-l-lunch," Tobias explained, and I nodded my head in agreement.

"I'll see what I can do," I said, causing him to nod at me, and he got out of the seat to leave for his next class.

After Tobias, I met with two other students who randomly showed up at my office. It was about an hour away from the lunch break, and I wondered if Megan would show up for our meeting today as she was ten minutes late already. I hope everything is okay, and I am not sure how to bring up the boyfriend issues that Tobias mentioned. If she doesn't smile anymore during lunch, then it has to be something important. I took a few minutes to finalize the notes on the student files with whom I met today and waited for Megan to show up.

Five minutes after the lunch bell rang, my office door opened, revealing Megan looking somewhat distraught, and she said, "I'm so sorry that I'm late."

"No worries, but are you okay?" I asked, concerned, and she sighed heavily.

"No, I'm really not," She said as she plopped into the chair across from me.

"Would you like to talk about it?" I pressed slightly.

"Yes, but... I have a question first," Megan countered, and I nodded, waiting patiently.
