NEIGHBOURINO
The drive back to the neighbourhood seems so fast. It was closer to a forty minute drive- but felt closer to five. Y/n had forgotten why she was so upset in the first place, cracking jokes with the three boys as if she had been friends with them this whole time.

As soon as they parked, clay, George and sap were quick to load out of the car- helping George carry his suitcase inside.

Sapnap was quick to walk back over to Y/N.
"Your welcome to hang out for a bit if you want."

"As much as I'd love to, I don't want to intrude. I'll go home and probably shower and unpack some more."

He understood. It was a big day emotionally for the both of them, so some rest was well needed. He just didn't understand how much she was really struggling- then again, it wasn't his place to ask.

They said there goodbyes as y/n disappeared back to her own house, deciding to actually respond to her parents many missed calls and texts. She sat down on her couch, clicking onto her moms contact and pressing the call button.

She prayed the phone would ring out- but unfortunately she was never that lucky- hearing her mothers voice almost instantly scream through the technology.
"WHY HAVEN'T YOU CALLED ME!? IVE BEEN SO WORRIED ABOUT YOU Y/N-"

"Mom I'm fine calm down I've just been busy unpacking-"
Lies. She looked around the room full of boxes stacked high and mighty.
"You said you'd call me"
"I haven't had the chance. I'm sorry."

Y/N let out a heavy breath- before hearing a rhythmic knock on her door.
"I have to go finish unpacking. I love you, I'll call you later." She was quick to hang up before any protest was attempted. She jumped up to her feet, hesitating before opening the door. She let out a sigh of relief, seeing it was just sapnap and his friends.

"What's up neighbourino?" She chuckled, leaning against the doorframe- half closing the door behind her. The place was a mess and she had barely unpacked anything.

"We're bored. Can we help you unpack?" Clay whined, trying to peer into the house.
"Clay! Sorry y/n, but yeah we're here to help you unpack. You really don't have a choice"

She rolled her eyes, opening the door.
"Knock yourselves out. It's gonna take some time- but would be a lot harder if i was doing it on my own. I really can't refuse help." She giggled, inviting them inside.

"My bedroom is about as much as I've done-"

"Okay, the boyfriends can work on the kitchen and living room and you can help me with the bathroom." Sapnap chuckled, shooting his friends a look.

"He's not my boyfriend-"
"-were not dating" George and dream tried to defend. It wasn't very convincing. Y/N couldn't help but giggle,
"Sure sure, let's just get this done and over with"

The friends went to work in seperate ways, dream and George tag-teaming the kitchen as y/n and sapnap took the boxes labeled 'BATHROOM' To the said room.

SAPNAP POV

"You know, I thought you'd have more things." I commented as I handed her different products from the boxes. A shower shelf, some toiletries- shampoo, conditioner, honey scented body scrub, milk and honey body wash- you get the gist.

She must have noticed my silence as I read the products, hearing her giggle softly was music to my ears.

"Why are you reading them so intensely? You don't have to memorise my shower routine" she joked, making my face heat up slightly.

"Yeah, cause I'm a psycho who would do that." I rolled my eyes, looking down.

"I didn't know psychopaths could be so normal-"

"Would killing you make it more realistic?" I jokingly snapped back, making her laugh and throw something at me- a loofah. I rolled my eyes, tossing it back at her.

DREAMS POV
George and I had gotten the kitchen pretty much finished, deciding to work on the living room straight after. It was a lot emptier after clearing out the boxes for the other rooms. It was basically just building and straightening furniture- setting up the tv, easy stuff.

George was having a blast. He barely knew y/n- not that I knew her any more than he did, but he was just happy to have something to do. He was playing music off his phone as we built, moved and organised the living room. It looked like a normal room now- minus all the empty boxes stacked along the wall in case she wanted to keep them.

We plopped down onto the couch for a five minute break, hearing soft laughter come from the bathroom. I was scared- scared but excited. Scared because I could already tell Sapnap was gaining feelings for the new girl- but this could be a good thing. Maybe she'd fall for him. They both deserve someone like the other anyhow.

I felt George shift to lay his head against my shoulder- making me blush slightly. I wrapped an arm around him, watching him doze off thanks to the jet lag.... I'm sure y/n wouldn't mind if we had a quick nap... I let my eyes close and joined George in a relaxed sleep.
