CHAPTER SEVEN

A night to remember <3

After about a twenty minute drive- and an extra five trying to find a parking space, they were at the entry of the fair.

Dream had pre-paid for the tickets, showing the man at the gate the digital tickets before they were allowed in.

Y/N looked around at all the busy sights. Games. Food. Rides.
This was going to be a good day.

"Okay guys, we need a game plan" Dream laughed.
"George and I haven't had anything to eat yet- so while we do that why don't you two go on a ride or play a game or something. We can meet by the Ferris wheel in an hour?"

Sapnap gave his friend/roommate a double thumbs up, before looking at Y/N for clarification.

"Sounds good to me!" She beamed, tugging onto sapnap's sleeve gently.
"What do ya wanna do first?"

He blushed lightly, shrugging.
"Let's play a game? What about that water balloon game over there? Those always have cool winning prizes"

"That's for winners- you think you can beat me?"
"I know so"

Dream and George chuckled at the two's teasing bickers.
"No violence kids- play nice. Have fun. Call us if you need anything. Don't talk to strangers"

Y/N rolled her eyes, instantly heading over with Sapnap to the water balloon gun game.

"You really think you can beat me at this?"
Sapnap laughed, slapping down enough money for the both of them to play a round.

"Honey, fair games are my thing." She responded back in a sassy tone, shoving him playfully as they took their positions.

Y/N'S POV
I could already tell I was going to make some unforgettable memories today- it's a gut feeling I have. I squinted my eyes, holding onto the gun with no shake as my balloon began to fill with water.

Sapnap, on the other hand, was shaking like crazy as he tried to beat me-

I was so lost staring at his face of concentration, that I didn't even realise I had won until the game attendant called out-

"WE HAVE A WINNER! PICK YOUR PRIZE, DEAR!"

I cringed slightly at the name, but brushed it off- pointing towards a stuffed panda bear. Sapnap seemed shocked by my choice.

"Out of a dog, a lion and a panda you chose the panda?" He asked, almost sounding confused.

I shrugged in response,
"I like pandas. They are lazy, like me. But also super cute!"

"Like you?"

"Oh shush" I cut him off, slightly flustered.

"You know my name backwards is pandas yeah?"

I never thought of that.

That was an even better reason to pick this prize.
"Lucky me then, huh." I teased him lightheartedly, leading him away from the game. I saw him pull out his phone.
"Say cheese, lucky winner" he snickered, taking a photo of me- I hid my face behind the giant stuffed bear, giggling.

"Don't paparazzi me" I pouted, before grabbing his hand subconsciously.
"Let's do something else! Did you wanna ride a ride or play another game?"

"Why don't we knock out all the games now, and then get dream and George to ride the rides with us?" He suggested, making me smile. I nodded, dragging him over to another classic carnival game.
