CHAPTER TWELVE

Halloween?

Halloween. It was usually the only time a girl could dress up and not be called a slut. However, y/n never really celebrated it before.

Being from Australia, not many people had celebrated it.

But her new friends had other ideas.

This year, they swore would be the best Halloween- and that's because dream decided he would throw a Halloween party and invite all of his friends.

Of course, y/n wanted to just relax and maybe watch a spooky movie- but none of the boys would let that happen.

"Cmon y/n! You got to come over tonight- just for a bit. I promise you will have fun" dream tried to convince her.
"You and sap can wear matching costumes!! It will be so cute- please just give it a shot."

God. It was hard to say no to that- y/n liked to show off her relationship. She was proud to be with him. It had been a few weeks since she started streaming- she and sapnap had talked a fair bit about when they'd come out online as a couple.

I mean... matching costumes was so sweet....

"Fine. I'll show up to your party I guess-"
"Yes! SAPNAP Y/N IS COMING OVER TONIGHT COME HERE AND TALK COSTUMES! We are just about to leave to go costume shopping- come with us!"

Y/n was in sweats and one of sapnaps shirts, hair tied back messily.
"I'm not getting dressed though. But yeah, I'll come"

Dream smiled, looking at sapnap as he came into the lounge room.

Sapnap walked over to y/n, wrapping his arms around her gingerly.
"Good morning- you let clay convince you?"

"Unfortunately. He offered the idea of us wearing matching costumes- how could I resist?"
Sapnap chuckled at that answer, thinking it was sweet- and also a good opportunity to publicly come out as dating. It had been a few weeks- so he felt safe enough to do so. People had met her already through twitch, so she wasn't just some stranger to his fans.

The three got into dreams car, starting to drive to the nearest costume shop.

SAPNAPS POV
Matching costumes. Let me repeat MATCHING COSTUMES?! this could either be really cute- or extremely cringe. Either way- I was interested.
I wasn't the most romantic person, but it was a cute idea.

Anyways, we arrived shortly at the nearest costume shop, getting out of the car.
Y/N approached me, putting her hand into mine nervously. I gave her a reassuring smile-
She has been nervous about going into public after she started streaming.

Dream rolled his eyes at us, taking the lead into the costume shop.
It was bright, and the walls were covered in costumes from head to toe.
"I'm gonna leave you two to this challenge- your costumes better be matching!" Dream called out, leaving us be.

We searched for about twenty minutes, before finding something we could bond over.

Movies.
Don't get me wrong, I'm like a walking mass of testosterone.. in most fields.
But there's nothing better than curling up under a plush blanket with your favourite snacks and watching classic animated films.

Such as toy story...

"We could try these ones!" Y/n beamed, holding up two costume bags.
Jessie and woody.

I smiled at her, giving a small nod. For someone who didn't really celebrate Halloween, she sure was excited to dress up.

I looked over at dream, who was purchasing a grease costume. Cliche, but always a good idea.
