Where the fuck do I begin with this guy. Imma get it out of the way and say that he is nothing but a writers toy. A character brought in for one purpose and that purpose was to ruin the show! Why!? Why was it so damn hard for them to let Ash win!? He deserved it so much but NAH we gotta keep milking the fuck outta this series as much as humanly possible! You shattered a boys dream for the fourth time in a row and you expected us to applaud you? FUCK YOU!
It wouldn't be so bad if he didn't come out of nowhere. They could've easily had him be a potential rival for Ash in the sinnoh show cuz god damn that shit had too much filler episodes. Heres an idea, since he looks like it, have him be a villain who worked with this chick.

Hunter J, the Pokémon bounty hunter. Like holy hell you had such a badass character like her who TANKED AN IRON TAIL FROM PIKACHU! What if Tobias actually was her apprentice because of a goal she put in his mind, only for him to betray her when he realizes her selfish ideals and her joining Team Galactic. That way you can have him save Latios and Darkrai, who would be her most prized captures, and form a bond with them.
But nah we gotta have more filler episodes! Screw making an actual good character we need a guy who has TWO FUCKING LEGENDARIES to piss all of us off!
And you wanna know the worst part? He comes, he beats Ash, and we NEVER HEAR FROM HIM AGAIN! We never learn more about why this guy was so strong or what his goals was. God damn writers trying to milk this series dry. It's dryer than the Sahara desert for gods sake!
Last few words, they should've made this the series final with Ash winning the league and have the next few series be about his own son after a Timeskip. That's all I got, fuck Tobias and fuck the writers.
