Friday Night Funkin has taken the internet by storm and thanks to the massive fanbase, a whole slew of fantastic mods have been created. These are in my opinion.
5. Whitty
How can I not have this guy here? He essentially started the mod craze that has boosted this games popularity by a loooooooong shot! Not to mention the songs are really damn nice, Ballistic is a definite classic and has sparked the hardcore side of the fanbase, seeking more challenging mods. Though that is a downside since a lot of these mods usually have unfair songs.
4. Mid Fight Masses
I honestly love the whole church aesthetic of this mod. Sarvante and Ruv are great characters despite knowing so little, that's an impact a mod can make. Not to mention the update it had also expanded the story by adding in the kids Ruv and Sarvante and even giving a song for them. Sadly this mod has been deleted.
3. Corruption
You may roll your eyes and call this mod "edgy" but nope! This mod takes a dark turn and does it right! Despite mainly being a YouTube series than an actual mod, it's god damn excellent at creating a dreadful tone as one by one the corruption takes control of the characters. The story isn't finished yet and I can't wait to see what happens, whether it ends good or bad. Btw, my favorite part is definitely this.
2. Tricky the Clown
I have been a massive fan of Madness Combat ever since I was a kid (which says a lot about me lol). So to see such an incredible mod like this just makes me so damn happy! It warms my violent heart that Madness Combat is still being kept alive today and thanks to this, has invited new members to the fanbase. Also yeah we all know the meme "Tricky was stolen from Friday Night Funkin" yeah yeah it'll get forgotten about soon. Also also the songs are just fucking incredible, ten out of ten.
1. FNF HD
Now this is what you call an HD mod! It not only improves the art style of the original game, but also adds an entire story with cutscenes! Not to mention the added mechanics that make the songs challenging and feel good to finish, ESPECIALLY MOMMY MUST MURDER MY GOD! It makes me invested to see Boyfriend earn the love of his Girlfriend, I want to see them succeed in the end! Also it's uh....horni. Like really horni with abs and side booba
