Prompt: (ok so like i actually can't come up with a good prompt for this one, so i just hope you enjoy it💀😭)

~Your pov~

How do you know when it's over?

Maybe when you feel more in love with the memories then the person right next to you.

Or maybe it because you don't miss them every second that they're gone.

You don't feel that happy, tingling sensation when you hug or kiss.

You start missing when you first started to date, the most in love part of you two.

But how do you really know it's over?

When she isn't giving you the same affection as she used to?

When she doesn't want to cuddle or let you hold her at night anymore.

Or maybe it's the way she looks at her best friend...how you used to look at each other when you were falling in love.

Maybe it's when you look into her eyes and they aren't filled with anger, jealousy, or love. They're just a pair of familiar eyes, that won't look at you the same.

In reality...we're destined to be strangers all over again...

"Y/n, are you okay?" Sab asked me, while waving her hand in front of my face.

"She's been asking you something for like twenty minutes, and you were zoned out the whole time, are you ok?" Emma asked me.

"Y-yeah im fine. Do you know where Eva is? I have to tell her something." I asked the group of girls.

"She's upstairs in her room." Mads said while sitting back on the couch and going on her phone again.

"Thanks Mads." I said while getting up, and walking up the stairs into Evas room.

As I opened the door...there sat Eva, the girl I had fallen in love with five months ago.

She looked over at me and smiled.

"Hi Y/n." She said.

She doesn't even call me baby or bubs anymore, just plain and simple Y/n.

"Hey, do you think we could talk?" I asked her while sitting on the bed next to her.

"Yeah for sure."

I sighed, and the room was silent.

I knew she was thinking this too, it needs to be done.

"Eva...five months ago I fell totally head over heals in love with you, and even before we were dating I loved you, but it's different now. Maybe we were meant to be, but we weren't meant to last. I see the way you look at Anna, the same we we looked at each other when we were in love-."

I paused and took a breath.

"I know this is going to be a hard goodbye, but sometimes it's hard to turn the page when you know someone won't be in the next chapter, but you have to continue with the story."

At this point tears were starting to form in my eyes.

"But what i'm trying to say is, that we should end it before we go on too far Eva. You're falling for her, and the toughest part of letting go is realizing that you've already let go."

I looked blinked and the tears started to come.

"Y/n- I.."

Eva didn't even have words to say anything because she knew I was right.

"I'm sorry.." She whispered out.

"It's okay Eva..we are not a love story, but instead we were a story of love."

~3rd person pov~

Y/n got up from Evas bed, and walked out of the door.

Y/n walked back downstairs, and grabbed her keys from the counter.

As the girls said her name, she's just ignored.

Now it's Y/ns turn to start a new chapter in life, because in reality she was always going to be destined to be a stranger to the girls.

Y/n left the house, and got into her car.

"Here's to new beginnings."
