Evas pov
Flashback
"Eva, let's get married when we're older." Said the young, joyful Y/n.
"Okay." I said while giggling.
"Promise?" She asked me.
"I promise." I said while making a pinky promise with her.
I heard a horn honk, and seen that it was my mom.
I looked back at Y/n and..
Y/ns pov
"You have a mark.." We said at the same time.
"We can't break our promise now." She said to me.
"I know I know." I told her.
"I have to go now, see you later loser." Eva said while running to her moms car.
Evas pov
"Hey, could i get a pencil?" I asked my classmate.
"No, get away you freak. you can't keep a promise, you've had that mark for years." He told me while looking back at his friends.
I sighed, and then felt a tap on my shoulder.
"Here." A girl said while smiling. I don't think i've ever seen her before. She looked like someone I know...
"T-thank you, I promise to give it back." I told her and she looked at me and smiled.
"What's your name?" She asked me.
"Eva, Eva Cudmore. And yours?"
"Anna Y/l/n."
That was Y/ns last name... I miss her so much.
Time skip after the class is over
The bell rung dismissing us from our last class of the day.
I found the girl and handed her the pencil back.
"So you can keep a promise, why do have a mark?" She asked me.
"Well it's a long story.." I sighed. "How about I just show you why i have it." I told her.
She agreed we to come with me.
We walked out to my car and she got in.
"Your not going to kidnap me are you?" She said while nervously laughing.
"No." I told the blond haired girl.
I started the car, and started driving.
Where we were going was only about a 10-15 minute drive.
I got the destination and we got out of the car.
"W-why are we here?" She asked me.
I walked over to her grave and i almost teared up.
"I brought a friend with me Y/n."
"Wait..this is Y/n Y/l/n, my cousin.." She told me and I looked at her.
"I made a promise with her. That we'd get married when we were older.." I said while tearing ups
"And then she died in that car crash.."
"So we can't complete the promise.." I said while now crying.
"Oh my god. I'm sorry Eva. Y/n talked to me about you. She really loved you Eva, and after that crash when she was in the hospital she really wanted you to be there but they didn't want anyone else in there other than three people that were family members." Anna told me.
"I know.. i just wish i could've seen her one last time. I wish she was still here." I said while sniffling.
"She was the right person for you, just not enough time." Anna told me while hugging me.
She's right.. Y/n was my soulmate.
