The Marauders strutted the halls as they walked to detention. It seemed that only Sirius noticed Snivellus spying on Jacey. He knew about his suspicions on Jacey and Remus and it pissed his off.

Minnie assigned them to polish the trophies in the trophy case. She spilt the twins from their best friends, and Jacey thought she knew nothing about them.

James just sat on the floor and stared at his reflection in the trophy. Jacey rolled her eyes. "Do you think I need to style my hair differently?" he asked his younger sister.

"I think you need to leave it, one. And two, I ain't cleanin' these all by myself. Help me."

"How about no." Jacey threw a rag at him. James used whatever he had and threw the trophy. Jacey threw one back. "Ow, you bitch!"

They both began throwing trophies at each other. After all the throphies were gone, James lunged at his sister. They started fighting each other. Minnie then came in, and the two stopped like they were frozen. Jacey and James pointed at each other to say the other did it.

"Out of all the irresponsible things you two have done, this tops it!" she yelled. The twins quickly stood up.

"I'm our defense, you left us alone together with no one else," James said, looking right at her.

  "You're both grown teenagers!"

"And you left us alone!" both exclaimed.

"Just go." Minnie shook her head.

  "Righty-o."

They both dashed off to find their best mates.

Jacey looked on the map for Regulus and saw that he was by the Black lake. She ran over and tackled him with a hug. Like everyone in her family, she was a hugger. Regulus let out a small laugh as he gave her a hug back.

"Jace, these surprise hugs are starting to get annoying," Regulus said. Jacey let go and sat next to him. "How are you? I know that the full moon is soon."

"I just have a bit of allergies, but other than that, I'm fine." This full moon wasn't going to be that hard. She could tell. But something was going to happen. She didn't understand how she knew, but she did. It was weird. "How are you? We haven't caught up in a while."

"I'm alright. Mother's was muttering something about something before I left. She's also trying to mention something in letters, but I don't know what about."

"Well, you won't have to worry about your mother for long. I'll get you to leave the horrible place that you call a home. I promise you." Jacey would always remember her promise. It was the one that she made in her second year. When she learned that Regulus needed someone to care for him more than Sirius did at that moment.

"Maybe one day." Regulus had always wondered what his life would be like if Jacey was his birth sister. Maybe it would be better. Maybe she would've helped him with everything that he knew what was going to happen to him. He always thought of Jacey as his sister. If it wasn't for her, he would be hanging out with horrible people. He didn't want the life he had at the moment.

Regulus could always talk to Jacey about anything. But there was only one thing that he was scared to talk about. He was supposed to be put in when he got home. It sucked. Jacey stared at the clouds.

"You ever wonder why clouds mostly disappear at night?" she asked him.

"Not really. It's just something that just happens. Like having pumpkin juice at meals. You don't question it."
