PRE-DEBUT || Part 4

~ December 23, 2002 ~ 

It was the first Christmas that the Park household had 4 people, including a two week year old new born. It was near Christmas and the entire household was decorated with Christmas decorations, some made by the 6 year old girl, including a pasta made like star on top of the tree and some ballet slippers that Sunbin thought was the perfect Christmas tree decoration.

But there they were, Sunbin and her father, watching a Christmas film on the sofa, while Hae was trying to put Sunghoon back to sleep, but he was more interested in the flashy scenes and noises that came from the box in front of him that his sleep.

To say that Sunbin was not as happy was an understatement. The joy when she discovered that she would be having a baby brother instead of a sister has ended on December 8th when Park Sunghoon was born. The 6 years old was grumpy, since Sunghoon could wake up all his family members with his crying at 3 am almost every morning, for a new-born, he had some big lungs.

"Sunbin was easier to put to sleep than this little one" the mother was having a mental breakdown, since how could a two week old baby fight his sleep so much as Sunghoon could, and it did not help where the other child that they could compared him to, was a sleepyhead that could fall asleep anywhere in a matter of seconds.

She decided to put Sunghoon in between Sunbin and their father in the sofa while she would prepare his warm milk to try and make him fall asleep, and no, she could not breastfeed her Childs, while she was still pregnant with Sunbin, the doctors discovered that she had an bacteria in her milk that made breastfeeding not a possibility for her.

While Sunbin was focused on the movie, Sunghoon was trying hard to reach his big sister t-shirt. When she noticed this, she gave him her pinkie for him to play with. Even if he was incredible annoying, and did not let her sleep, he still has her little brother.

When Hae came back from the kitchen with a warm bottle of milk in her hand, Sunghoon was already sleeping while still holding Sunbin's finger.

"Well, it looks like Sunbin will be putting Sunghoon to sleep more often" Yong said when he noticed his wife looking down at both of their kids, and in the space of few seconds, Sunbin was also sleeping forming an L around Sunghoon. "Like this, they almost look innocent and cute".

"Do you think we should separate them and bring them to each room, or let them sleep here? Sunbin looks uncomfortable" Hae said while putting down the bottle of Milk and sitting next to her husband.

"And risk both of them waking up? I think we could let them sleep here, and if Sunbin was uncomfortable she would not fall asleep." Yong said like putting his arm around his wife and focussing back on the movie that they were watching before.

It took the siblings 4 hours to wake up and both of them demanding for food, one a little quietly than the other.
