A Motel Assault

Carmen's POV

We decided to stop for the night at a motel.

At least ACME thought of allowing us to rent motel rooms and maybe eat at diners.

They even gave us pajamas.

By "pajamas," I meant we had to use our prison jumpsuits for pajamas.

What?

I can't sleep in my armor.

We got two rooms.

One for the ladies.

One for the men.

By "men," I actually mean La Chévre, Devineaux, and El Topo in case you were wondering.

'Great.' I thought sarcastically. 'I get to share a room with two people who might want to slit my throat as soon as I fall asleep. Devineaux doesn't have to worry. If El Topo or La Chévre even breath on him, all our heads will be blown off.'

When we got to our room, there were only two beds.

I took the one closest to the bathroom.

"You two get to share a bed." I said, jumping onto my bed.

"You're lucky we can't kill you." Said Paper Star.

"No, the rule is you can't kill Devineaux." I sighed. "So I'll sleep with an eye open."

Paper Star went to the bathroom to get changed.

I stood up and was about to get changed, then I turned to Tigress.

"A little privacy, please?" I asked.

Luckily, she looked the other way when I changed into my pajamas.

And I did the same for her.

I set on of my pistols on the nightstand, while putting the other one in a duffel bag ACME so kindly gave each of us.

"Why is your pistol on the nightstand?" Asked Paper Star, sitting on her bed.

"Never know." I said.

"Wanna watch a movie?" Asked Tigress.

The motel room had the film Wizard of Oz on DVD.

I nodded.

We watched the film together, and surprisingly, we enjoyed ourselves.

I thought we'd be throwing each other against the wall by now.

Correction, I thought THEY would be shoving me into a wall by now.

After the movie, we decided to call it a night.

Just as I was about to turn in, Tigress got in the same bed as me.

"What the hell are you doing?" I asked her.

"Paper Star probably rolls around in her sleep." Said Tigress.

"Are you sure I don't?" I asked.
