I closed tha doe and locked it. I went in tha kitchen and Lani was on my phone talkin'

Leilani: "I answered yo phone cuz it was gettin' on my nerves. So hea'. Talk ta him so he can shut up"

I grab my phone and put it on speaker

Me: "Didn't I tell you ta lose er'thang dat has anythang ta do wit me? Dat included my numba, too. But don't worry. Imma change my numba afta dis so talk"

Shawn: "NeNe-"

Me: "Nevaeh ta you..."

Shawn: "Well Nevaeh I'm sorry. I just went back to my old habits when I seen her. I just didn't wanna hurt chu cuz I promised you I wouldn't do that and I did. I care for you and I love you..."

Me: "*scoffs* No. No you don't. Cuz if you did...you wouldn't have cheated, Shawn. Dis is what I get fa trustin' a nigga wit a cheatin' past. Dat was stupid on my part. I hung up and Lani started laughin'

Leilani: "Did you fa'get he had feelin's?"

Leilani: "Violent much?"

Me: "Yup. But change of subject. You goin' back ta Miami wit mamí?"

Leilani: "Yup. But not na though. I gotta wait til school out. Ion like these people" She said seriously

Me: "*laughs* So all summer it is then"

We high five and start laughin'. I need a new scenery. And new people. Can't wait...

Shawn POV:

Yo! I really fucked up. She's literally gonna hate me forever. I made a promise and I fucked up my relationship all because of a past broad. I was doin' fine until she came back in my life. I was trynna end it befoe it got even worse. But somebody caught me befoe I could end it. Accordin' to Lani, somebody sent a picture to NeNe phone. Ion know who did it but whoeva did it need they ass beat for that shit frfr. They betta hope Ion find out cuz if I do...Imma bust they face. Period...

Leilani POV:

Since Ion wanna be at home ta'night, Tasha and I goin' ta see a movie. What kinda movie? Ion know. I'm only fourteen lol. But I lowkey wanna see a movie wit violence in it. I'm into crap like dat. Afta I freshen up, get dressed (MM), flatten my hair, and put in my pearl stud earrings, I grab my phone, money, and ChapStick, I go downstairs...

Me: "NeNe!"

Nevaeh: "You done?!"

Me: "Yup!"

By time I get ta tha livin' room, I hear ha keys. I walk in there and she gets all girly

Nevaeh: "Awww! Lani you look so freakin' cute!"

Me: "Yea. Thanks. Calm down. It's juss clothes..."

Nevaeh: "Uhh. Rude..."

I start laughin' and she walks past me. She's so dramatic

*Movie theatre*

Nevaeh: "Don't do nun crazy. Stay away from strangers. And enjoy tha movie *smiles*"

Me: "*laughs* I'll call when tha movie ova"

She nods and we get out. We get our ticket and go in. See...I have an advantage cuz of my ma and pops. So I can technically see whateva movie I wanna see. While we were talkin' and waitin' in tha line, Tasha started tappn' on me...

Me: "Stop dat. What is it?"

Tasha: "Ol' dude staring you down. And he cute.."

I look ta my right and he smiled and I gave him a head nod

Me: "Dats juss Jared. Ion know him but I know his name. Annnd hea' he comes. Hi Jared"

Jared: "Wassup. Leilani right?"

Me: "Nah. Katrina..."

Jared: "Like the hurricane?"

Me: "Yea..."

Then he juss looked at me like he was thrown off so I started laughin'

Me: "I'm juss playin'. Yea. It's Leilani"

Jared: "So since I'm straight forward and all. Can I have yo number"

Me: "Well since I'm straight forward and all. Tha answer is no..."

Jared: "*sucks teeth* Why?"

Me: "Simple. Ion wanna give it ta you. Do you want anotha explanation?"

Jared: "Yes..."

Me: "We go ta tha same school. You see me er'day except Saturday and Sunday. We have a freakin' class ta'getha. We have tha same lunch ta'getha. We were in band ta'getha. Need moe?"

Jared: "'Iight. You're right..."

Me: "I know I'm right. Yeen ain't gotta tell me dat. If Ion talk ta you in school, I'm not finna hit chu up when we not. But nice try though..."

I smiled and we got our stuff and went in tha theatre. He prolly thought dat was mean as crap. But I didn't. Talk ta me in school first then it'll go from there...
