Part 1 🌸

Lilliana- Stacey hurry up! We're gonna be late!
Stacey- sorry, I'm coming!!

Hi! I'm Lilliana McGill, and I just moved from bright big New York, to boring small Stoneybrook, Connecticut.

Today I'm supposed to start school at Stoneybrook High, but if my sister, Stacey, doesn't hurry up I will be late on the first day. Great first impression, I know.

Anyway, Stacey finally got downstairs, and I grabbed my bag and house keys, and walked out the front door. I locked the door behind me, and started our walk to Stacey's school first.

Once we got to Stacey's school I walked in with her and went to the office. While walking there I could see a bunch of boys looking at me like I'm their new chew toy. I rolled my eyes, and said bye to Stacey, as her tour guide was here.

Lilliana- bye Stace, text me when you want me to get you
Stacey- Will do, bye Lilli
Lilliana- bye bye

I walked out the main entrance and speed walked to my school. Thank god I wore deodorant today. I walked to the main entrance and opened the door seeing a bunch of the high schoolers. I awkwardly made my way around them as they stared at me, probably knowing I was new. This is a pretty small town so it's probably noticeable when someone is new.

I walked to the office and asked the secretary for my schedule.

Lilliana- hi, I'm here for my schedule...
Secretary- name?
Lilliana- Lilliana McGill, I'm in my sophomore year
Secretary- ah yes, McGill, here you go, and you're guide should be out the door
Lilliana- thank you
Secretary- it's my job! Welcome to Stoneybrook Lilliana

I waved goodbye and walked out the door. I awkwardly looked around and saw a really pretty brunette girl walking towards me.

The girl- hey! Are you Lilliana?
Lilliana- uh, yeah...
The girl- hi, I'm Olivia, Olivia Rodrigo
Lilliana- Lilliana McGill
Olivia- I love your name, do your friends call you Lilli for short?
Lilliana- yeah
Olivia- it reminds me of the flower
Lilliana- I love flowers... ironically my middle name is Rose
Olivia- that's so cool! Do you have any friends here yet?
Lilliana- no, I don't really have any friends period. I had two, one that decided to bully me because of something personal, and the other moved to California and I haven't seen him since
Olivia- well, now you do! How about we exchange numbers and you can meet up with my boyfriend and I when school ends so we can walk home together
Lilliana- yeah, ok

I gave her my number and she gave me hers. She showed me around the school a bit, and then brought me to my home room class. I thanked her, and she hugged me and said goodbye. She walked away to her own home room, and I took a deep breath and walked into class.

As I got inside I could see that there were already a few students in there. I walked over to the teachers desk.

Lilliana- hi, umm I'm Lilliana McGill
Teacher- oh yes, I was expecting you. I'm Mrs. Richards
Lilliana- nice to meet you
Mrs. Richards- how about you go sit next to Sam
Lilliana- uhh
A boy- over here!
Lilliana- oh ok...

I walked over to the boy and sat down next to to him. He smiled at me and I shyly smiled back. He's pretty cute... wait stop Lilliana Rose McGill, we are not going to fall in love already

Sam- I'm Sam, Sam Thomas
Lilliana- Lilliana McGill... but people call me Lilli
Sam- like the flower...?
Lilliana- yeah...
Sam- do you like flowers?
Lilliana- yeah... back in New York a lot of people new me as the flower girl because I would grow flowers and sell them as my own little business
Sam- that's pretty cool... not gonna lie
Lilliana- thanks...
Sam- why'd you move from New York to boring old Stoneybrook?
Lilliana- umm some... personal reasons
Sam- oh, sorry I didn't know
Lilliana- no, you don't have to be sorry, it's just a little hard to talk about
Sam- hey... do you want to walk home with my brother and his girlfriend after school? Maybe we can hang out at my house for a bit
Lilliana- yeah sure... but by any chance, is your brothers girlfriend Olivia?
Sam- yeah, how do you know?
Lilliana- I met her this morning and she said that she wants me to walk home with her and her boyfriend. I said ok, but I forgot to tell her that I have to get my sister from her school...
Sam- that's ok, we have to pick up my sister too so it's fine
Lilliana- ok, then I'm in

We talk a bit more about ourselves, and my life in New York. I found out that he has two brothers and one sister. And that his mom and dad divorced when they were younger but she has a cool boyfriend now.

Lilliana- oh my god... I'm so sorry...
Sam- don't be, it's ok.
Lilliana- are you sure? I feel like you told me a big thing, all I told you was that I used to grow flowers
Sam- *chuckle* yeah, it's totally fine. Maybe when you're comfortable you can tell me a secret of your's
Lilliana- maybe...

The bell rings and Sam and I went our separate ways. By the end of the day I figured out we have a couple classes together, but not very many. At the end of the day I get a text from Olivia

Liv💐- hey Lilli! Meet us by the flag pole!
Lilli bear 🧸- kk :)

I walked out the main entrance and walked towards the flag pole. I saw Sam, Olivia and Sam's brother Charlie, also Olivia's boyfriend. Sam told me his name in home room.

Lilliana- hey Liv!
Olivia- hey Lilli
Sam- hi Lills!
Lilliana- hey Sam
Olivia- oh, you met Sam?
Sam- we met in home room and we had a couple classes together
Olivia- oh, cool! Well Lilli, this is Charlie, Charlie this is Lilliana
Charlie- hey! Nice to meet you
Lilliana- you too
Sam- well we should go and get our sisters
Olivia- lead the way!

Sam and I walked in the direction of Stoneybrook Middle School. It was a comfortable silence, besides Olivia and Charlie talking from behind us.

All of a sudden my phone rang. It was Stacey

Lilliana- Hey Stace, what's up?
Stacey- hey, I'm going to my friends house, is that okay?
Lilliana- yeah, of course it is! I'll see you at home?
Stacey- yes. Be safe, and eat something, please.
Lilliana- I will. And you be careful ok?
Stacey- I will, bye Lilli
Lilliana- bye bye Stacey, love you
Stacey- love you too

I hung up the phone and sighed.

Sam- what's up?
Lilliana- my sister is going to a friends house
Sam- ok, that's fine. By the way, I heard her say something about you eating something. Why would she make sure you eat?
Lilliana- oh, umm nothing, it's nothing
Sam- ok?... I know we just met but you can tell me anything
Lilliana- thank you, that means a lot
Sam- of course, it's what friends are for

I smiled at Sam and he smiled back. We made it to the school and waited in the front for Sam's sister.

Sam- god, where is she?
Olivia- there she is
Kristy- hey guys, who's this?
Sam- Kristy this is our friend Lilliana
Lilliana- hi
Mary Anne- hi, I'm Mary Anne
Kristy- nice to meet you
Lilliana- you too
Charlie- let's head home guys

We started walking to the Thomas house, Mary Anne and Kristy led the way. Apparently Mary Anne lives right next door to Kristy.

Anyway, Sam and I made some conversation while walking to his house, and once we got there I saw a pretty familiar looking blonde sitting with another girl on the front porch of a neighbors house.

Lilliana- Stacey?
Stacey- oh, hey Lilli!
Olivia- Lilli come on!
Lilliana- I got to go, call me when you want to head back home
Stacey- ok

I walked towards Olivia and went inside the house with the others. Once I walked inside, I saw a young boy and a woman making a puzzle.

Sam- hey mom
The woman- hey guys, who's this?
Sam- this is my friend Lilliana
Lilliana- hi, you can call me Lilli
The woman- hi Lilli, I'm Liz, Charlie and Kristy's mom
Lilliana- nice to meet you
Liz- you too sweetheart. You guys hungry I just got back from the store so we have snacks?
Charlie- oh my god yes
Olivia- I haven't eaten since lunch
Kristy- me neither
Mary Anne- *laughing* none of us have
Sam- you want something Lills?
Lilliana- uhh, no. Thanks though...
Sam- ok, if you get hungry just let us know
Lilliana- ok

I smiled at the boy and he smiled back and playfully winked at me. I rolled my eyes playfully at him and he laughed.
