Imagine you have been secretly dating Niall for a few months; over these few months you've both fallen head over heels in love and have just moved in together.

Today Niall is doing an interview on zoom, whilst you lounge on the sofas behind the camera. You're not paying too much attention, your mind wandering occasionally as your beloved boyfriend speaks.
But then a question catches your attention: "How does being an artist affect your love life?"
Niall looks taken aback slightly, not expecting the topic to move to his love life. Before answering, his eyes unintentionally flicker in your direction and as you make eye contact your stomach erupts with butterflies and for some reason you're worried as to how he's going to answer this question.

"Well I feel like for me personally," he begins, "that it doesn't tend to affect my love life much- I'm very good at keeping my work and my personal life separate where it needs to be- but I mean I'm a single guy, I was a single guy so naturally being in the spotlight brings you a lot of attention." He stops, looking over at you once more as your eyes widen with realisation at what he just admitted.
The interviewer pauses and then: "I'm sorry Niall, but did you just say that you were a single guy, in the past tense?"
"Err.." He hesitates, looking at you with a question in his eyes.

As you two look at each other, you realise that you're not worried anymore because even if the public know, you and Niall can work through anything as long as you have each other. With that thought in mind, you give him a reassuring smile and a nod, ready for your secret to be out to the world.

Seeing this nod, Niall instantly relaxes, returning his attention to the interview. "Yes. Yes I did say that in the past tense because I have a partner. Actually, we've just moved in together and we're very happy." His smile takes over his whole face.
"Aw that's great Niall, I'm sure everyone watching this can agree with me when I say I'm very happy for you and wish you all the best in your relationship!" The interviewer positively beams - whether that be because they were the person to find out this news or because of genuine happiness, you'll never know but you don't care either. All that matters is the warmth you feel in your heart at your news finally being out and you know Niall feels it too.

idk how many of you are still interested in this book of imagines but here I am uploading anyways! I really am trying to get back into writing on here, I just don't have much spare time at the moment but I am going to keep trying to fit it in, I promise! that being said, my writing skills might have suffered a bit and may be a bit rusty so i hope this isn't too bad😅
