Imagine one direction have an event at the shop you work at. You don't really know much about them but you're excited to see what the fuss is all about.

Whilst the event is happening, you stand off to the side, watching from afar. They're all attractive boys but one stands out to you in particular. He's got short brown hair and brown eyes which seem to shine in the light, especially when he smiles.

After an hour or two, you can see the boys have gone on a break, so you debate whether you should go over and introduce yourself or not.

Before you can make a decision, the one you like with brown hair and the blonde one start walking in your direction. You look around, thinking they're walking towards someone else but when you look back they're stood in front of you.

"Hey! I'm Niall! What's your name?" The blonde boy says excitedly.
"Hi Niall, I'm Y/N."
"That's a nice name, I'm Liam by the way." The other boy says.
"Thanks, nice to meet you both." You smile.
"Nice to meet you too Y/N. So you work here?" Liam asks nonchalantly. This for some reason, sets Niall off laughing. "Niall, shut up. What are you laughing at?" Liam frowns.
"You!"
"Why me?" Liam glares at him.
"Because you're trying to sound cool in front of Y/N." He continues to laugh and Liam blushes, before stamping on Nialls foot. "Ow!"

"Anyways as I was trying to ask earlier, do you work here?" Liam asks again.
"Yep. I do, but it's usually not as busy." You chuckle.
"Yeah, we tend to have that effect, don't we Niall?"
"I suppose so." Niall responds, still rubbing his foot.

"What time do you finish work today?"
"When your event is over."
"Ahh perfect," he folds his arms. "So um, do you wanna do something when it's over?"
Niall begins waving his arms around. "Ooo you gonna take her dancing?"
Liam turns to stare at Niall, obviously annoyed, before turning back to you. "Sorry about him, he seems to have a penchant for embarrassing me."
"I can see that," you giggle. "But I'd love to do something with you after, as long as Niall isn't there."
"WOOOO GO LIAM! LIAM GOT THE GIRL, LIAM GOT THE GI- wait, did you say as long as I'm not there?" Niall asks his hand on his heart.
You nod laughing before he pokes his tongue out at you and storms off in a fake strop.

"He's so funny." You say to Liam.
"Hmm, sometimes," he rolls his eyes but then smiles at you. "So I'll meet you here then when we're both finished?"
"Sure, see you in a bit!" You smile, a warm feeling spreading through you, as you watch him walk away. Suddenly, you're beginning to wish you paid more attention to One Direction before today.
