Cameron's POV

Yes, she called! I know its only been a few hours, but I was having some doubts. Especially since she didn't seem impressed by the fact that I'm famous. That never happens to me.

She said that she was right by the dance studio. Little does she know, I dance there. I was practicing there when she called. What a small world.

I looked out the window and sure enough, there she was. She looked frusterated and confused, but still undeniably beautiful.

I smiled to myself and headed out the dance studio doors to meet her.

Wren's POV

I was standing by the curb facing the street waiting for Cameron. I cant believe he agreed to help me. I couldn't thank him enough.

I heard a door open behind me followed by a voice. Cameron's voice.

"Hello again", he said.

I turned around, so glad to see him.

"Thank you so much for helping me", I said.

"My pleasure", he answered.

"Why were you in the dance studio?", I asked

"I dance here with my crew, Xmob".

"You're an accomplished actor and a dancer? What else? Can you fly too?", I asked sarcastically.

Seriously though, girls kill for this stuff.

He just smirked and asked to see my address.

"I know where this is", he said, reading the piece of paper I handed him.

A sigh of relief escaped my mouth.

"Great", I breathed.

                            ********************************************

Cameron said it would be a good 15 minute walk back to my apartment so we decided to play the most cliche game ever: 20 questions.

"What kind of dance do you do?", I asked as my 6th question.

"Mostly break dancing", he answered.

His turn to ask. I hate talking about myself. Why did I agree to do this?

"Ok", he started. "What brings you to LA?".

I said one word:

"Adoption."

I didn't feel like I had to go deeper than that. I know I left it a little bit vague but talking about my family still stung a little bit. Luckily, Cameron understood.

"Wow, that's awesome", he said.

And that was all he said. He didn't pry to hear the details of my crazy story. I was grateful for those people. The ones who understand and respect boundaries. Cameron was one of those people.

Cameron's POV

Wren was really chill around me. Most girls are too crazed by the fact that I'm on TV and they don't stop and try to get to know me. I was so glad that Wren turned out to be someone relatable.

Our game of 20 questions started off like most do: favourite color ("eww, why do you like yellow?"), age ("You're 15? I'm 15 too!"), and home ("Good old Canada"). She was easy to talk to. I appreciate that in a person.
