"After I tame that shrew, I dare say she'll be the perfect wife."

Relaxing in your room after another week filled with preparations and planning, it's hard to remember the days this space felt more like a prison than a sanctuary. Now this seems to be the only place you can go to not be bombarded with important decisions for you to make. Here you can rest undisturbed.

Or so you thought. Without so much as a knock, your door swings open and a guard enters stating, "It's over. We won."

It takes you a moment to register who would have the gall to intrude on you so abruptly. "Seren? Is that you?"

"Yes. We have defeated Barbarossa. Your father will soon receive an invitation to my coronation and subsequent wedding." The guard looks to the side with a disgruntled pout. "Sin has some instructions for the Company if you could relay them." She flips out an envelope for you to deliver on your next trip down to the office.

So many questions are rushing through your head but before you can ask any of them, she hurriedly excuses herself, promising to catch up with you once she has the chance. Apparently there was a lot to do in Parthevia too.

But coronation? Marriage? It sounds like she will be taking over so her brother can rest. Will the country revert back to it's old government? And who was she marrying? The only guys you know in Parthevia right now are Sinbad and Drakon...it couldn't be to one of them, could it? Just what happened over there?

Thinking, you tap the envelope against your palm. As convenient as communicating with Zepar's power is, it sure is limited. There has got to be a better way. Well, if Sinbad wanted you to deliver a message for him, there was no reason you shouldn't know what you were conveying. You take out the letter and look it over.

It provides no clues to Parthevia's situation. Only orders to prepare a boat and who to be on it. They are to meet Sinbad in Csitephon so after the wedding, they can resume their journey to the next dungeon. It's a bit of a letdown that your fiance has no words for you nor inquiries on how preparations for Sindria were coming. So much has happened that you yearn to share, but it looks like you should have a chance to meet up with him in Parthevia.

Leaving your room, you search all around the palace for your father, hoping that he may have heard about Parthevia. You fail to find him, but discover from some of the maids that he was out visiting the slums for some special reason.

True to the message you received, word later came that Parthevia had undergone another reformation. King Rashid and his eldest daughter were cordially invited to attend the ceremonies. With much anticipation, you once again sail towards that country.

You lean over the railing and breathe in the salty air with closed eyes. It has a feeling of limited freedom. True you're going to the first country you've visited outside of your own, but there was still much of the world begging to be explored. Adventures to live instead of just being read about. There's a longing to have experienced more by this point from your initial embarking. The recent years have been exciting but it wasn't enough.

"Enjoying yourself?" drawled a gruff voice with warm overtones.

You've grown to recognize this timbre, but check in almost disbelief, "Hey, Seren?"

"That's my name," the guard chuckles and leans against the rail beside you. "Finally got a break. You wouldn't believe how crazy it's been putting everything back in order! How've you been?"

"Almost as busy, but I've been worried about you guys. What happened? How did you win? Who are you marrying? Is Sin okay? And your brother? Where is Parthevia going from here?"
