One week earlier around 12:50 AM, Ibrahim and his crew were on their way back home from a nightclub in Sparrow City, and Raphael was the one driving the car. The crew were worried about the police officers patrolling around, but to their amusement there were no cops to be found anywhere. As they were driving on the highway that is between Coastal City and Sparrow City, a black jeep drove past them at a dangerous speed, which terrified them. Suddenly, they heard a loud honk behind them that caused Raphael to lose control of the wheel and crashed into a sign post's rod on the side of the road thence, turning the car over. The truck behind them hit their car hard enough to sent it flying several feet away.
The Black Jeep pulled over immediately after the truck sped past it. A man that's black in skin tone with brown eyes and black hair, wearing a laboratory Coat, got out of the jeep holding a silver briefcase. The man hurried to the wrecked vehicle; inside he found Ibrahim still breathing, conscious but mortally wounded, while the others were completely out cold.
"Hold on!." The man said, nervously, before he dropped his briefcase.
In a few minutes the man helped Ibrahim and his friends out of the car. To his amusement they were all still alive but obviously won't make it much longer. So he quickly opened his briefcase, revealing five vials containing blue fluid, and five syringes.
"Who are you?" Ibrahim asked, writhing in agony.
"I'm a doctor and I can help you and your friends!" The man said, tenderly.
The doctor picked one of the syringes and a vial of the blue fluid. He drew the whole fluid into the syringe, then injected it into Ibrahim's system via the vein in his neck.
The doctor rushed to Raphael and the others to do the same thing as well. Ibrahim lay there breathing heavily and groaning in a terrifying agony, but to his shock, the agony vanished away, and he could swear he felt his body healing itself, rejuvenating itself and somehow he felt a surge of energy overwhelmed him all of a sudden.
"What did you inject me with?" Ibrahim asked, puzzled, sounding curious.
After the doctor is done injecting the blue fluid into Raphael and the others, he returned to Ibrahim's side smiling victoriously. He spun back nervously and saw two Black Fords in the distance coming their way, that's when he extracted two pieces of paper from his pocket, and then put them inside Ibrahim's pocket.
"There's no time to tell you what I injected into you folks, but I can tell you this now, there are bad people after me trying to take those papers from me. You and your friends are now the sworn keepers of those papers, so keep them safe at all costs." The doctor said, in a hurried tone.
"Who are you?" Ibrahim asked, confused, and curious to know more about the doctor.
"I'm Dr James Breakspeare, and working for The Aegis Corporation." The doctor said, in a hurry before he fled to his car.
Ibrahim was still lying down when two vehicles drove past him shooting at Dr James. Suddenly he heard the doctor's screamed apparently shot down. He heard footsteps coming towards him and his friends, then after a while everything quieted down. After a moment, he sat upright feeling more alive and strong than ever. He looked around, no sign of the doctor, his car or even those people after him. He quickly got up and pulled out the peices of paper the doctor has put into his pocket. He unfolded the papers, one got the letter "A" on it and the other got letter "B" on it. And he quickly realized what the papers were, due to the symbols on them; they're formulas for something else.
Ibrahim and all the others involved in the fight that occurred in the Cafeteria were inside the Chancellor's office that's large and well decorated with elegant frescos of William Shakespeare, Alexandre Dumas and other legendary writers. The guards were still outside the office in case something went off.
The Chancellor Dr hassan Jibril sat comfortable on his chair scowling at the Law breakers one after the other thinking of calling their parents or just expel them as usual. He looked at Ibrahim and Abubakar as the thought they used to hangout together back in the days, but doesn't know why the two became rivals.
"When you see two boys fighting, there's hundred percent probability that the fight was provoked by a girl. But I don't really understand you folks ever since you got here." Dr Hassan said, puzzled, as he gazed at Ibrahim and Abubakar, as if trying to read them.
Abubakar and Ibrahim exchanged a scowl, apparently signifying the fight isn't over yet. They would have to tear themselves apart next time or kill each other before it would be really over.
"The last time you folks fought I called your High School Principal and he told me everything about you. You actually got here to continue what you started during your High School time. Tell you what? I am going to call your parents and tell them everything, so that the next time something like this happen again, I'll kick you out for good!" Dr Hassan said, disappointed.
"It won't happen again, sir." Sauban said, tenderly.
"That's what you said last time, Sauban!" Dr Hassan said, angrily.
"Let's just say things went out of control, sir!" Ibrahim said, sounding repulsive.
"Get out of my office!" Dr Hassan said, angrily.
Ibrahim and the others exited the Chancellor's office, as if nothing has happened before. The guards scowled at them as they walked past them hoping they fight again so they could teach them how to behave next time. As they took the hallway leading to their classes Abubakar blocked Ibrahim's path.
"Don't think this is over, prick!." Abubakar said, smiling viciously.
"You think I'm that dumb like you!." Ibrahim said, teasingly.
"We shall see then!" Abubakar said, in disgust, before he walked off with his henchmen flanking him.
"What's next?" Raphael asked, feeling angry.
"Get ready for another fight, I guess it would be nasty!" Ibrahim said, in a dark tone, feeling a surge of power coursing via his body making him feel he's capable of doing anything.
When the school closed, Ibrahim went to the lockers corridor to keep his text books. Everyone there stared at him as if he's some kind of monster in the school. He felt his heart overwhelmed by amusement, as he got to his locker. He could tell by the way they looked at him that they're scared of him and the others, due to how they fight with anyone who got on their way, and some of the students here knew them since High School. As he opened his locker the new girl (Fateema Tahir) appeared, staring at him warily and apparently puzzled about why he and his friends fought Abubakar and his henchmen the other time. He extracted his text books, put them inside his locker as Fateema kept staring at him.
"Why did you do it?." Fateema asked, curiously.
"What?" Ibrahim asked, bluffing, without looking at her.
"You guys fought each other because of me!." Fateema said, seriously.
"You think it was about you?." Ibrahim asked, in a chuckle.
"That's boy's nature, fighting over a girl, especially a sophomore!" Fateema said, repulsively.
Ibrahim turned and gazed into the beautiful eyes of the new girl that stole away his heart. To his shock he got inside her head and able to read her thoughts; she was actually talking to him so she could give him a straight warning to stay away from her because her new friends told her what they knew about him and his notorious clique.
"So... you and Safreena are now friends. Excellent!." Ibrahim said, in a chuckle.
Fateema stared at Ibrahim apparently in shock and wondering how he knew she has befriend Safreena Muh'd. She then thought maybe he got spies in her class. Ibrahim grinned widely at the fact he knows her name is Fateema Tahir and where she lives and even the town she left to come to Coastal City.
"Why are you smiling?" Fateema asked, puzzled.
"You got a nice name Fateema, I am Ibrahim Musa by the way!" Ibrahim said, with a grin.
Fateema scowled at Ibrahim as he grinned, believing he definitely got spies in her class, but what shocked her the most was how he knew her name, because the people in the school that knew her name were the Chancellor and Safreena. She shook her head in annoyance and just walked off without saying a word.
Ibrahim turned back to his locker to continue putting all his text books inside. Suddenly, Safyan and Suleiman together with two more friends of his since High School showed up; Abdulqadir Ahmad and Muhammad Abdullahi. He sighed heavily after knowing why they came to him looking worried.
Dr Tom Ridge was in an unknown enormous laboratory working with other seven scientists. As he paused thinking about what their commander has ordered him to do, Anita walked in with two male friends, Creda Diamond and Frank Gibbs.
"What do you want?" Dr Tom asked, sternly, as he and the other scientists watched the three stopped near a table containing vials of blood and pink fluid stored inside several boxes.
"What kind of question was that?" Frank asked, coldly. He's fair in complexion with blue eyes and green hair.
"We just want to know why the commander is not sending us out to find those kids." Anita said, annoyed.
"Because he got other plans, and because you kill anything on your way whenever you were given a simple task." Dr Tom said, mockingly.
Anita felt a rage that's accompanied by a surge of dark power, heating up from within her, as she scowled at Dr Tom. Electricity began to flow around her body as the lightbulbs began to flick repeatedly and wildly thence, terrifying the hell out of the scientists in the laboratory.
"I dare you to repeat what you just said, asshole!" Anita said, in a fit of rage.
"The commander planned to send the pseudo-werewolves after the kids, after we know their identity." Dr Tom said, tenderly, as he trembles.
Anita cracked a bloody grin as her rage began to wane slowly. She thought he would be so stupid enough to repeat what he said to her again, she would've turn him into a pile of ashes. She admired her ways of intimidating others using her own power against them.
"Why?." Frank asked, puzzled.
"He want their deaths to look as if a wild animal did it." Dr Tom said, with a sigh.
"And you think the pack could take down superhumans with multiple powers!" Creda said, in a chuckle, as he gazed at Dr Tom. He's dark in skin tone with hazel eyes and black hair.
"Of course not, they'll all literally perish like they've never existed before. Because Dr James told me everything about the blue serum. Serum X as he had called it . It'll grant its host an infinite power, making them the most powerful superhumans in the world." Dr Tom said, seriously.
"Define infinite power." Creda said, sounding curious.
"Those kids out there are invincible and nothing can stop them." Dr Tom said, nervously.
"Did you tell the commander?" Anita asked, curiously.
"I did, but he didn't seem to care." Dr Tom said, with a sigh.
Anita exchanged a puzzle and nervous look with Creda and Frank, clearly thinking about the same thing. They believes the deceased Dr James whom hated the Corporation had forged weapons that could bring about the end of them all.
"Don't worry, The Waves will soon send one of their favourite operatives to help us track down the kids when the pack fails." Dr Tom said, with a grin.
"I hate the guy!" Anita said, disgusted.
"Even John can't take them down so easily, He'll need back up." Dr Tom said, in a serious tone.
Anita and the others exited the laboratory, going to talk to their commander about allowing them to take down the new most powerful beasts in the world, whom were likely to know about The Aegis Corporation or worst by now, whim as Dr Tom had stated are invincible and more powerful than any of them.
