Abubakar, Ibrahim and Fateema pulled over at the school's parking lot, seeing dozens of students with their partners heading to the building. Ibrahim got out of the car, opened the door for his beautiful queen, smiling triumphantly.
"Thanks!" Fateema said, tenderly, after gotten out of the car.
"You're welcome!" Ibrahim said, with a smirk.
Abubakar got out of the car just as Saoban, Khalifa, Raphael and Ishaq pulled over with Safreena in the front seat. Fateema seemed thrilled seeing her best friend whom had claimed that she won't show up without a date. Khalifa got out of the car first; then quickly opened the door for his long time crush who never pay attention to him since high school, but accepted to go out with him as her date; she smiled at him after she got out of the car which makes him cracked a mocking grin at Saoban, Raphael and Ishaq whom history has somehow managed to repeat itself for the second time.
"Oh, you look like a princess!" Safreena said, happily, as she rushed and embraced Fateema tightly.
"You too!" Fateema said, thrilled, after she pulled away.
"We're ten minutes late." Abubakar said, checking his wristwatch.
"Where is your date?" Ishaq asked, in mocking tone, smiling at Abubakar.
"I'm not a loser like you three. Mine is in there waiting for me!" Abubakar said, with a chortle, before walking away.
"Lets go guys." Safreena said, as she and her date walks off.
"History repeated itself or what?" Ibrahim asked, in a whisper, as he glanced at Raphael.
     "Says who?" Saoban asked, sternly.
Ibrahim and Fateema took off leaving Saoban, Raphael and Ishaq at the parking lot. Suddenly, they spotted Nasir coming their way alone without a date as well. The four of them headed towards the building where their gigantic hall is located.
Khalifa, Ibrahim, Fateema and Safreena walked into the hall, finding several dozens of students there dressed properly. Some were sitting at the tables with their dates, while others were dancing to a song by the legendary boy band westlife. Ibrahim grinned; the song is clearly one of his favourites.
"I love this song!" Fateema said, happily.
"Yeah, westlife are the best!." Ibrahim said, with a smirk.
"They were the best. Know the difference between now and back then" Khalifa said, looking around the crowded hall, probably looking for an empty table.
"You're clearly out of date, dude. They got reunited once again and have released a new album 'Spectrum'. Check it out!" Ibrahim said, in a serious tone, before he spotted Abubakar waving at them near an empty table with five seats.
Ibrahim grabbed Fateema by the hand gently which sends a unique sensation through her veins like electric current. She gazed at him as he dragged her along; her feelings intensified as she felt his warm hand clutching hers gently.
"Man, you're something else this night!" Ibrahim said, with a grin, after gotten to the unoccupied table with the others.
"That's what friends do, but you and your crew ruined that!" Abubakar said, softly, sounding hurt.
Ibrahim and Khalifa exchanged a guilty look; then looked at Abubakar whom has managed to live with what they did to him all these years. They realized what they did in the past to him was wrong and they should've never treated him like that, even though they were trying to bury their past by becoming good citizens, good students and good friends.
"We're sorry man!" Khalifa said, sincerely.
"The past is gone for good. I am with you guys, because of Hashim." Abubakar said, sternly.
"Are you not going to forgive them?" Safreena asked, feeling bad.
"What they did to me cannot be forgiven that easily." Abubakar said, sternly.
"What did they do to you?" Fateema asked, curiously.
"We shouldn't talk about that here. We're here to have fun." Ibrahim said, grinning, changing the topic.
"I'll go get us something to drink and eat." Abubakar said, tenderly, before he left the table. Ibrahim followed suit as well leaving Khalifa with the girls.
Suddenly, the light bulbs in the hall all began to flick repeatedly, consequently freaking everyone there. Some of the bulbs began to explode making the students and lecturers that attended the party to got up looking terrified. Ibrahim looked around the hall trying to find his friends thinking maybe it was one of them doing that to freak people out a bit.
"What's going on?" Abubakar asked, nervously.
"I don't know!" Ibrahim said, looking around and finally spotted Ishaq, Raphael and Saoban standing up as well looking nervous; he then glanced back at Khalifa standing beside Safreena and Fateema protectively and ready for the worst.
Abruptly, Anita in Blue Leather Jacket appeared in front of the crowd in the hall, as electricity started flowing around her body. Everyone in the place flinched apparently shocked and terrified, most especially Ibrahim, Khalifa, Saoban, Raphael and Ishaq whom used to believe they were the only freaks in existence, but were wrong all along.
"Who are you? What do you want?" Dr Hassan asked, terrified.
"Good question. We're here for the League of Justice, because they got an unfinished business with us!" Anita said, in a fit of rage, looking around the gigantic hall.
Ibrahim froze up for a moment, realizing that the girl might be after the formulas Dr James had given him. He glanced back at his friends, apparently thinking the same thing, and hoped she didn't know what they really look like.
"We!" Dr Hassan said, puzzled, looking at the supervillain.
"Yeah!" Anita said, viciously, before she shoots a bolt of electricity that shatters the chancellor to ashes.
Everyone in the hall began to flee out of self preservation screaming, and terrified. Ibrahim and Abubakar rushed back to Khalifa and the girls shortly before Anita started a killing spree, turning people into piles of ashes in her wake.
"Come on!" Ibrahim said, nervously, as he grabbed Fateema by the arm.
Ibrahim, Fateema, Khalifa, Safreena, Abubakar together with Saoban, Raphael, Ishaq and Nasir made it out of the hall with many others, but took a different path to avoid being blasted to piles of ashes randomly by the psychotic supervillain. As the group took an empty hallway, they found all the guards lying on the floor, butchered brutally, with seven naked men covered with blood scowling at them ferociously.
"What the hell?" Abubakar asked, nervously, after he and the others stopped in their tracks, speechless and terrified.
"We need to get out of here!" Safreena said, freaking out.
Abruptly, these mysterious naked men transformed into grotesque wolf-like creatures standing on two. They were very dark in skin tone with black fur covering their body. They got four fangs and large claws with elongated ears.
Ibrahim and the others flinched in terror as the creatures growled at them menacingly. Khalifa quickly acted fast; he opened a classroom for Abubakar, Nasir, Fateema and Safreena to enter, as he and the others generates the idea to deal with the nasty looking beasts themselves.
"Get inside!" Ibrahim said, in a warning tone.
"What? We need to get the hell out of here now, not hide in a classroom!" Abubakar said, seriously.
"There's no time!" Ishaq said, nervously.
"What about you guys?" Fateema asked, terrified.
"We would be fine. I promise!" Ibrahim said, softly, cracking a grin.
The wolf-like creatures lunged at Khalifa and the others, after a loud roar which seemed to terrified them the most. They lunged at them on all fours ferociously and as they got nearer; Ibrahim, Saoban, Khalifa, Raphael and Ishaq felt a sudden visceral reaction overcame them, a surge of power coursing through them that they couldn't control. Abubakar and the others watched as one of the creatures leaped in the air and landed with a slashing blow, but Ishaq bats it away several feet away effortlessly, like a rag doll. Raphael grabbed one of the creatures by the throat roughly, shoved it twice against the wall, then jostled it aside to help his friends. That's when Abubakar and the others gets inside the office and locked it, but watched the fight via the windows.
Saoban's skin turned as pale as milk, his hair turned white as his body emanates an intensive cold. He flung a ball of ice at one of the creatures turning it into an ice statue. He then instinctively forged an ice spear out of nothing to defend himself and his friends from the threats.
Ishaq's body is suddenly consumed by electricity which he uses to obliterate three of the creatures alive. One of the creatures hit Khalifa several feet away, but he maintained his balance in the air apparently with his newfound ability to fly, then with a gesture of his hand, grabbed the creature mentally and ripped its heart out.
Ibrahim in one motion moved towards two of the creatures at a massive speed,  knocked them down hard enough to cause a fissure on the floor. His hands burst with flames that didn't hurt him at all. He smiled viciously before incinerating the creatures alive.
The remaining two creatures attempted to flee, but Frank consumed by flames flew in and destroyed them; then hurled a blast that knocked Ibrahim and the others down, but they quickly regained their feet ready to take the pyromancer. Anita appears through the cables of the hallway with her body now made of electricity. Creda shows up at the end of the hallway grinning viciously at them, clenching his fists in the process.
"The so-called League Of Justice!." Creda said, in a chuckle.
"You punks really thought you were the only ones with the power beyond human capability!." Anita said, in a dark tone.
"Who are you people?." Ishaq asked, curiously.
"Devoted fans!." Frank said, in a chortle, floating in the air.
"What do you want from us?." Ibrahim asked, sternly.
"You already know why we're here, don't you?." Anita asked, playfully.
"There's only one way to find out." Raphael said, with a wicked smirk, as he clenched his fists, obviously ready to fight.
"Oh really!." Anita said, in a chuckle, apparently impressed that The League Of Justice has lots of guts.
Abruptly, Ishaq flung a bolt of electricity at Anita before she could react. To her shock, even though electricity manipulation is her superpower, the bolt knocked her down, making it obvious that the electricity Ishaq could manipulate is far more potent than hers somehow.
Creda lunged at the group viciously, but Ibrahim stopped him in his tracks with a gesture of his hand, then hurled him back to the end of the hallway where he crashed into the wall. Khalifa flew towards Frank and punched him down effortlessly with a fist.
Anita got back to her feet looking nervous, realizing the three of them can't actually deal with the new superhumans wielding multiple powers. She nodded at Frank to flee before she vanished into the cables and fled. Frank flew away out of self-preservation ; and Creda did the same as well.
Ibrahim incinerated the bodies of the two unnatural creatures Khalifa had killed via heart extraction. Abubakar, Nasir, Fateema, and Safreena walked out of the office, shocked and at the same time terrified by what they had seen.
Ibrahim, Saoban, Khalifa, Raphael, and Ishaq exchanged a look, trying to figure out a way to explain everything as Abubakar and the others kept staring at them still terrified and speechless. On the spur of the moment, they heard the police officers already on their way to the hallway.
A dozen of police officers appeared at the scene, yelling at Ibrahim and the others to get out of the building until they make sure everything is under control. Ibrahim and the others were escorted out of the building by three cops where all the survivors were, grieving their losses, and really terrified by the supervillainess with the ability to manipulate electricity.
Reporters from different stations shows up immediately. Paramedics also shows up at the scene to tend to those who were injured, while the cops investigates the whole place and also asks questions about the mysterious supervillainess everyone kept talking about. A lot of parents include Fateema's parent shows up, to take their children home safely. Ibrahim watched as Fateema left the scene with her parent looking terrified and feeling unsafe, and could tell by the way she looked at him that she is scared of them all, most especially the supervillains.
The next day, nine teenage folks were in a hotel room taking their breakfasts, while chatting and cracking jokes. Two males in their 20s entered, looking so worried about what had happened last night at Decent Memorial College. The young folks stopped what they were doing and stared at the men that have been taking good care of them, eversince they escaped from The Wave's lair with the help of Dr James Breakspeare.
"How is it?." One of the young folks (Ruth Owen) asked, nervously.
"How many casualties?." Another young folk (Emeka Linus) asked, curiously.
"It was bad, very bad!." One of the two men (Jerry Mike) said, with a nervous sigh, before he took a seat beside a boy name Alex Time.
"How bad is very bad?." Another young folk (Sagir Tanko) asked, feeling puzzled.
"Very bad, dumb ass!." Another young folk (Okon Crane) said, sternly, before Sagir swung a condemning look at him for a while.
"Any trace of who had launched the attack?." Another young folk (Precious Max) asked, curiously, before she glanced at her younger sister (Alice Max).
"No, but we all know, it would either be The Aegis' Operatives or The Wave's Operatives." The other man (Vida Peters) said, in a serious tone.
"These brats must be stopped!." Another young folk (Rose Amos) said, fiercely, obviously tired of the evil Corporations doing whatever they want and get away with it without leaving any trace.
"We have our orders to maintain a low profile for the time being!." Another young folk (Bright Casmir) said, in a warning tone.
"We haven't heard anything from Dr James for days now." Ruth said, boldly.
"And which means one thing, he is dead!." Alex said, sounding nervous.
"You don't know that." Okon said, in a stern voice, gazing at Alex warily.
"What is the plan now, Jerry?." Precious asked, with a sigh, as she and the others all stared at their acting leader.
Jerry sat there overwhelmed by his thoughts, trying to figure a way to make sure he protect the youngsters at all costs. But on the other hand, he and his close friend Vida wants to destroy The Waves for what they've done to them , ruining their lives completely.
"They were there for a reason we must find out cautiously, without exposing ourselves." Jerry said, tenderly.
"That's what I thought too." Ruth said, seriously.
"And what about Dr James?." Alice asked, curiously.
"We have to move on without him." Vida said, seriously.
"Not to mention, he was one of those lunatics right from the start, but somehow retained his humanity." Sagir said, in a serious tone.
"We can't stay here, due to the fact Dr James knows we are here, and if those assholes got him, they would probably make him spit out our hideout." Bright said, in a warning tone.
"Alright then, I will find a new place for us." Jerry said, with a sigh.
What really concerns Jerry is why that school was attacked last night, and why all those innocent folks died along with the school's chancellor. A feeling that they attacked the school because of someone that might be so special, crossed his mind; someone or something they want, but could't get it quietly and easily without applying the law of violence and chaos in the process.
