I kept replaying the footage. None of it made sense, there's no way they could know who it was in the masks, but they did know someone had impersonated them. It would be impossible not to notice. Sighing beside me, Romeo sorted through all the hardware files we had on the Mexican mafia.

"Why do I have to do this again?" He asked in a whiney voice, rolling my eyes as I turned to him.

"Because you idiot, we can't let anyone figure out it was us and Sage was almost killed by the real Mexican Mafia."

"Who cares if that kid dies, not like we like him anyways."

I shook my head, "We might not like it, but Amara is fond of him, not to mention if he dies, 'mara will just have to marry one of his other children and we can't have that happening."

"Okay nerd, what's the plan?"

"I'm not a nerd." I grumbled under my breath and pulled up the security footage of the warehouse. "Here you can see that the Mexicans attacked the base directly connected to the one we attacked, then they bombed the one on the right, which means that their next target-"

"Will be the one directly in front of it, hence creating a square pattern."

I nodded in agreement. "Should we tell the others this? We can easily ambush the Mexicans when they attack." I nodded, "Let's go."

I called Sage and asked him to come over; Romeo screamed at our siblings to come downstairs. In five minutes, a car pulled up outside as Sage entered inside. Amara was the first one to greet him, she pulled him in for a hug, one which he seemed too eager to return. I huffed and sat down beside Alex who was looking at me, amused.

"What is it?" I sulked, she chuckled.

"You're so overprotective, lighten up."

"You're just as bad as me, I heard you punched the shit out of the girl who called Carina fat."

"At least I didn't plan an attack dressed up as a third party just to threaten my sister's fiance."

"I don't know what you're talking about." I brushed her comment off.

"Sure you don't." She hummed as Sage and Amara sat down. "Alright, so we figured out when and which warehouse the Mexicans are going to attack next."

"Yeah me too." Alex mumbled beside me. "They're going to attack warehouse 47, beside the pier. They will do it at 11:45pm on the twenty-third of October." Romeo told everyone.

"A small number of us are going to ambush the attack and capture the members. "Alex is not going to be part of that." Genevieve said before anyone volunteered.

"What? That's not fair, why not?" She whined and pleaded.

"You're still healing, your flesh wound is way better but I know it still stings when you touch it." Al rolled her eyes and fell onto the sofa.

"Alright then, I see how this is." She pouted as I laughed. Quickly quieting down when she threw me a glare.

"So, who wants to volunteer as a tribute?"

An hour. It had been a fucking hour since 11:45. We were all packing up because the Mexican didn't show up, here or anywhere else. Seems like they pulled the disappearing trick on us all. Nudging Romeo awake, I stashed my gun in my back pocket and helped the others remove the trip wires.

"I don't know how we got it wrong." Romeo shrugged and mumbled something. "But we had all the details right. It's impossible for them to know we were going to be here today, they couldn't know."

Rom shrugged again. "God dammit." I slammed a box down in anger as everyone stopped to look at me. Slumping back down, I closed my eyes.

"We'll just have to wait until the next attack." Liam said from behind Sage. Surprisingly, Sage and Liam had become friends almost immediately. I didn't like how fast that kid had almost all of us charmed. Scoffing, I moved over to call Genevieve when it happened all so suddenly.

The door burst open with a small nuclear granite, I stumbled back from the impact of the explosion. I scrambled, half-asleep to find my gun, only to find that it had disappeared from my belt. I frantically searched the ground for it, but most of it was rubble.

When I finally managed to find my gun, getting up I saw my siblings had disappeared inside the emergency passageway, but Sage hadn't. All the people who had attacked us were lying dead on the floor, at least I think it was all.

My eyes searched my surroundings to see a guy creeping up behind Sage, before he could shoot. I jumped forward as the trigger pressed with a loud bang.

What happened next was really blurry. The sharp pain near my heart was too much to bear. I felt someone pick me up and put me on a stretcher as some cars followed behind what I think was an ambulance.

I was trying my best to stay awake as the medics pressed at my wound. Groaning as I was once again carried to a bed, I saw faint outlines of my siblings, all of them, following me.

"It was us. I'm so sorry Gen It was us, we attacked-" I heard what I think was Romeo mumbled frantically, before I blacked out.

What the fuck just happened?
